Someone asked me to write some Sea Grunks prompts so here they are! Anyone is welcome to use these for whatever.

This episode of Bunnicula contains a sad ghost that causes everyone around her to be sad, to cry uncontrollably and be irrational the way that people overcome by sadness are. (Worth watching the cartoon for inspiration, it’s just 10 minutes long and super cute!) While the Stans are in the arctic circle, the Stan O'War II is followed by/infested with an anomaly that has similar properties.

The Stans get lost in a Bermuda Triangle-type place. Their navigational equipment stops working and they can’t get any sort of communication signals out. They try to navigate by the sun and stars but everything is swallowed up by fog. They sail for days, their food starts to run out and they’re getting scared. The prompt could be about how they get out of that situation, or just the things they talk to each other about while they’re worried they’re going to die.

The Stans have to smuggle some kind of living monster or anomalous artifact that’s also contraband past customs. Threatening them will not work. They’ll have to either sneak or smooth talk their way through this.

Some of Stan’s old enemies run into Ford while they’re at port, mistake him for Stan, knock him out and kidnap him. Protective Stan has to save him.

Stan gets lured off the ship by sirens or some similar creatures. (Ford is immune to them because he’s ace as hell.) Protective Ford has to save him.

One of the Stans gets stung by a poisonous (possibly anomalous) jellyfish and spends a few days sweating and hallucinating. The other one has to nurse him through it, take care of him and talk him through what he’s seeing.

One of the Stans accidentally puts on a cursed mask that cannot be removed and that slowly, over a period of a couple of weeks, turns him into the walking dead. The other one has to try and save him.

Arguing about The Duchess Approves out at sea.

The first trip back to the US after their expedition in the arctic circle, the sea grunks reunite with their niblings at the shore.

The Stans have a run-in with pirates, are outnumbered and can’t fight them off. They’re taken alive to a small, uncharted island where the pirates’ leader is. Luckily (or unluckily, depending on who you ask) the leader of the pirates is Stan’s old boyfriend, Rick Sanchez. (Had to throw one of these in here because I’m garbage.)

The same scenario as above, but instead of Rick it’s Jorge/Rico/someone else from Stan’s criminal past, or an enemy of Ford’s from beyond the portal that somehow found his way into this dimension. Bonus points for protective Ford in either scenario.

Really anything with protective Ford, we need more protective Ford in this sinful old world.
