I have wanted to write this story for YEARS now, and I finally have an excuse to, thanks to @therebeccasky and her Sunkissedwp Fantasy Anthology! Having grown up in Ohio, I’ve always been looking for a way to capture its magic in a story, and this is that story. That brick house in the bottom left corner is actually a shop in my hometown!
I don’t have words for the warmth in my heart! Beauty and the Beet, my little @wattpad story has gotten such great responses! Even if I don’t get voted into the top 25, I’ve connected with so many amazing writers! The support people have shown each other is amazing! I’m so proud to be a part of this community!
June is turning out to be a straight insane month! I somehow ended up doing several writing projects since I can’t say no to things, but I will get it all done! Somehow, I will find time. I tend to be much more productive when I’m on a time crunch. It has honestly been the best cure for writers block!
So #writersofbookstagram what are you working on!?
Also, behind this photo is a Victorian era magazine from Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and it’s probably the coolest thing I’ve ever found while antiquing!
This book. This book! (SPOILERS) I though the first book was good, but not until Rhysand showed up. This book blew ACOTAR out of the water. Rhysand and Feyre’s relationship is the stuff I’ve been dying to read and haven’t found yet. There is no insta love, just a deep deep bond that forms over the entirety of the book! It lived up to the hype, let me just say! It has its flaws but this book… I can’t even form words after finishing it last night.
Oh my goodness! I finally finished reading a book! The first in months. It didn’t help that all my books were packed up, but I was in a horrid reading slump! Leave it to Maggie Stiefvater to get me out of it! At the risk of being spoilery, I’ll just say that this series was fantastic. This book was fantastic! The end.
