i love how wuxi went from thinking beiyuan was kind to him so he had a hard time rejecting his gifts and invitations to get closer to “not seeing him one day was akin to being separated for three autumns; this month, for wu xi, was akin to gut-wretching agony”
once again thinking about wu xi being jing beiyuans solace and peace finally after so many lifetimes of [waves my hand around] y'know, pain etc
