i mean i can’t comment on everyone but what i’ve come to find is that a lot of people who don’t get that John was at the very least a neglectful father doesn’t know anything about those sorts of familial situations or they haven’t worked through some things that John’s character might bring to mind like that sounds prickish but i mean i’m just sayin
