This is absolutely disgusting behavior. Sometimes life happens, or other things arise. Just because someone isn’t religiously posting a new fic everyday does not mean they aren’t working on trying to post for their followers. It takes zero effort to be kind. Writers on tumblr don’t owe you anything.
