Fellow trans people I know it feels like everyone can tell you’re trans but so many cis people have fucking blinders on and will not perceive the openly trans person starting and responding to hormones in real time while working with you. Like I’m wearing my pronoun pin every day and twice now people have started talking about the strange and mysterious phenomenon of People Who Change Genders while I’m standing right there and I’m like “I’m right here” and they’re like “what? We’re not talking about you” and then when you reveal that you’re trans they react with absurdly overdramatic shock that 1. A trans person exists In The Real World, In Their Place Of Work and 2. They have been interacting with this person as if they were a normal human being this whole time!!! You were TRANS?????
