THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING IN THE WORLD IS WHEN A CARTOON CHARACTER IS LOCKED IN A CELL OR CAGE OF SOME KIND AND THE BARS ARE LIKE

Okay but the most egregious and upsetting one comes from a very horrible sequel from an actually amazing movie. You know The Secret of Nimh, right? Well there was a sequel to that all about Timothy and he ends up being put in a cage and look at the fucking cage:
He could EASILY slip right through those bars! He’s a fucking mouse! The bars are wide enough all he’d have to do is slightly squeeze through. He doesn’t even need turn and shuffle through them!
Like… hello?! Look at how big the gap is! He’s small enough to squeeze right on out of there.
See his entire head can fit through the bars! He could slip right through them! It infuriates me so.
{{Okay so I know I said the TSON2 was a horrible movie, but I actually do like the character development Timothy goes through and his romance with Jenny is adorable. And Martin’s song is also very catchy. But the animation quality is abysmal, and it had far too many pointless songs that could have been cut down to save for more interesting things. The story’s pacing is all over the place, and it seems like this movie goes on forever but is also over in the blink of an eye. So yeh, it’s not the worst sequel out there, but it definitely could have been more polished. It’s shame that this sequel came from such an amazing and stunning movie.}}
