TheZhubieyu is a strange creature from Chinese mythology. Known as the “pearl turtle,” it is actually said to more closely resemble a piece of raw meat, with four eyes and six legs.

The Zhubieyu lives in rivers and lakes, and produces pearls from its mouth. Its flesh is considered a delicacy, and is said to protect against certain seasonal illnesses.
