The prompt cards are here!❄️

As you can see, they are in the form of bingo boards. Prompts come in sets of three, so there are eight sets per card (three rows down, three across, two diagonal).

PROMPT CLAIMING

❄️ First, carefully read or review the ground rules before proceeding, either here on Tumblr or in the fest collection over on A03.

❄️ Prompt claiming occurs on A03. On the left side bar of the collection, you will see ‘Prompts.’ Use the cards here to find a combo you like, or browse there.

❄️ Each prompt set should only be claimed once. Do not claim an already claimed prompt, and only claim one prompt. If you are a writer and an artist, you may do both, but please put your artwork in your fic - beginning, end, or wherever you want in the story, doesn’t matter. Just please do not upload it as a separate piece.

❄️ Prompts are meant to inspire and help, not hinder! If you use all three prompts, extra kudos! But you can also use only one or two prompts if you prefer. It’s meant to be flexible!

❄️ Once you have claimed your prompt, you can locate this information from your own A03 Dashboard. On the left toolbar toward the bottom, you will see the ‘Claims’ button. If you click on that, it should show you your prompt card and the relevant fest info, such as when your submission is due.

SUBMITTING

If you are finished and ready to submit, it’s time to post it to the collection!

❄️ You may post any time before the submission due date. The collection is Unrevealed until the reveal date.

❄️When posting to A03, you must post it to the collection:  ‘NaughtyZKWinterFest2021′

❄️ The days between the submission date and the reveal date are for the admins to check over submissions and ensure they follow the requirements.

❄️Do not post your work on any other platform until the reveal. After the reveal, cross-post away! Promote yourself!

❄️ When cross-posting to Tumblr: please mind the Tumblr guidelines when posting adult content. This means that images must be hosted elsewhere, with the explicit bits cropped out. Tumblr’s guidelines do not require explicit text to be under a cut, but out of respect for fandom members who do not want to see a swarm of explicit fic text in the main tag, please still put explicit fic excerpts under a read more tag. To be clear on what explicit means: is there a graphic depiction of genitalia and/or sexual acts being performed? If the answer to both of these is no, it is not explicit.

Welcome to the Naughty ZK Winter Fest 2021!❄️

Summer in the Northern Hemisphere is drawing to a close, and cold weather is slowly approaching for many! But wherever you are and whatever the weather, this fest aims to spread fluff, joy, and more warmth to you this December.

And in the case of this fest: some smutty spice!

You are welcome to participate in both, provided you follow the rules.

PRELIMINARY INFO:

Prompts released: Saturday, September 4th here on Tumblr.

Claiming on A03 opens: Saturday, September 4th. Claiming is on a rolling basis, so claims can be made up until the submission date.

Submissions Due: Sunday, November 28th 22:00 CET.

Collection Reveal: December 1st.

Prompts will be claimed on A03, and works will be posted to a collection on A03. The collection will be ‘Unrevealed’ until December 1st. If you’d like to know more about how unrevealed collections work, here is the info on A03.More in-depth information will be given on the prompts, how to claim them, and how to post to the collection next weekend, when prompts are released and claiming opens.

This blog will then showcase a few works every day throughout December after the collection reveal!

GENERAL RULES:

☃️ You must have an A03 account to participate.

☃️ Adults only, please.

☃️ This fest is open for both writers and artists. It is not inherently collaborative, but feel free to work with each other if you like (or if you write and do art, feel free to do both with your prompt set).

☃️ The Naughty Fest is for smutty goodness: ratings M and E only!

☃️ No Archive Warnings are permitted. Incest, necrophilia, and bestiality are not permitted.

☃️ Your work must be appropriately tagged and rated.

☃️ As this is a Zutara-centric fest, only works where Zutara is the focus are allowed, though triads/poly ships involving Zutara are welcome. Side pairings are also welcome.

☃️ Ship bashing/hate will not be tolerated.

☃️ If you participate, you are expected to practice the Kinktomato ideology (Your kink is not my kink and that’s okay). Kinkshaming will therefore not be tolerated.

☃️ This fest is meant to be fluff centric, but angst and bittersweet/unhappy endings are still welcome.

RULES FOR WRITERS:

1000 word minimum. No maximum.

Both oneshots and multichapters are welcome. Please only post the first chapter by the submission date. After the reveal, you can update at your own leisure.

RULES FOR ARTISTS:

At least one new art piece.

Manips are welcome, but please no moodboards.
