قصر المعتمد بن عباد المسمى بقصر المبارك Royal Alcázar of Seville
كان المعتمد بن عباد حين آل إليه حكم إشبيلية سنة (461 هـ 1068م)، في الثلاثين من عمره، شابا فتيا، فارسا، شجاعا، شاعرا مجيدا، وأميرا جوادا، ذا خِلال باهرة، يحب الأدب ومسامرة أهله؛ فاجتمع في بلاطه نجوم ساطعة من أرباب ونوابغ القصيد من أمثال أبي بكر بن عمار،وابن زيدون، وابن اللبانة، وابن حمديس الصقلي، وكما كان المعتمد شاعرا مجيدا، كانت زوجته اعتماد الرميكية شاعرة كذلك، تجمع إلى جمالها الفاتن البراعة في الشعر والأدب، وكانت إشبيلية حاضرة دولته آية في الروعة والبهاء، تزدان بقصور بني عباد وقواده وكبار رجال دولته ،في نهايته الحزينة طال أَسْر المعتمد وسجنه في اغمات في المغرب فبلغ نحو أربع سنوات حتى أنقذه الموت من هوان السجن
