新裤子 New Pants (weibo) Formed in 1996 in China. According to Spotify, this album (生命因你而火热) came out in 2016.

Let’s check out a high-energy band from Beijing called Twinkle Star 闪星乐队 (Twinkle Star 闪星乐队 Facebook has some posting, but the weibo is a better bet for content!) =D
They self-describe as alternative / emo / power pop. This is a killer tune, with a guest screamo vocal by Bai Yu, from the post-hardcore band Life Awaits. The girl playing violin is 陈曌旭嘘.
赵梦 Kelsey-Voc, 张帅 Zhang Shuai-Gtr, 刘畅 LiuChang-Bass, 大连 GaoWei-Drums. formed by Zhang Shuai & Kelsey in May 2008. LC & Gaowei joined in 2012.
They used to be called Alt Senior, and that is also the title of their 2009 ep. (also the address of most of their social media sites) In 2012, they released a full album called The End Of The New Beginning. The next release in 2013 was their Don’t Look Back ep. You can hear those recordings at Douban, and see lots of clips at YouTube as well. =D
According to their Xiami, the Twinkle In The Dark album came out in late 2018, but the MV above was posted last month. There is also something from 2017 called Full Of Hope 充满希望, but Xiami won’t let me see it without logging in on the app, but I think it’s a full album.
