Our dear Yuzuru is going to Sweden for the Worlds even though he has anxieties about it. He publicly mentioned that he doesn’t want to be a spreader of Covid-19 and that he felt that it is our duty to help those who are in the frontlines. ISU will still held the competition with this makeshift bubble. Listen to me, whoever loves Yuzuru just as much as i do, i am a nurse myself too, the bubble is proven to be ineffective. With that much people in the same place, a bubble will not stand in preventing COVID-19. Remember, you cannot see COVID-19, and people have it without symptoms! You see people boarding the plane negative but landing in their destination positive! We need extra protection for them, not only the athletes but all of those who will be involved. But in all honesty, let the whole wide world be vaccinated first, before doing any such events, not only competitions, but other such events where people gather. I am advocating the vaccination program because it is the only way the spread could stop! Not some bubble the ISU is so invested to. With the vaccine, a term called herd immunity will be achieved, in which the virus will lost host to live into. But to achieve this we need to be vaccinated first. Sorry that it gone so long, but my point is, wait for the whole world to achieve herd immunity and you can go with as many competitions as you wanted to ISU. Lives are more important than something like this. Please support our cause and protecting the athletes that we individually adore. Its not only for our Yuzuru, but for the other athletes as well.
