i know that people have rl problems and issues to attend to (i also have mine) . but it ensaddens me

i know that people have rl problems and issues to attend to (i also have mine) . but it ensaddens me when i’m hopeful of an interaction be it through asks/memes, or threads and we end up with weeks or months without a reply from the rp partner whatsoever? i thought they were just as invested in it as i am but it seems i was wrong.
