a few quick notes:

• Maia is pronounced like the name Maya
• Maia Kobabe (@redgoldsparks) and I are not the same person! (But if you don’t already know eir work, definitely check em out – eir graphic memoir Gender Queer is life-changing, and I’m not being hyperbolic)
• I’m ace, queer, and genderqueer, and I’m making journal comics about my life telling the kinds of messy queer stories I needed to see when I was younger <3
