I art directed & designed this illustration by the awesome @tanaford.designs #TanaFord for #ServingPride, the Queer History Dinner Party Handbook. It’s from the chapter that talks about the stifling, repressive era between the 1930s to the 1960s. Queer people were demonized and shamed, terrorized by authorities, and often depicted as a threat to the American way of life.
