Now, these photographs have an amazing story behind it! The photos were sent by @classicrockcereal and the man in the photograph was his great uncle Leo Carenza. Born on February 8th 1907 in Saint Louis Missouri he had moved from Saint Louis to Detroit Michigan. His ancestry was Italian, his parents were born in Italy and they had 10 siblings.
Leo Carenza got married to the woman in the picture Rose Marie Nicholson on May 31st of 1948. @classicrockcereal finished: “Leo was also in the Italian mafia most of his brothers were expect Joe Carenza he became a professional soccer athlete these pictures were taken in Detroit Michigan. Leo died on April of 1969. ”
