“As a Black femme who’s been blamed for the downfall of community and “democracy” for merely setting boundaries, having standards, and saying no. Seeing this much grace extended by the public to an abusive war criminal has made me MORE audacious about my preservation and autonomy.”

This racket seeks to run us dry. Erasure in exchange for slivers of conditional approval will never be worth our life’s autonomy. It’s time to stop chasing after the dignity that’s been afforded to our counterparts for free.
