My adorable Yeolume custom by UmamiBaby got gorgeous little fairy wings. I just love the Yeolume face mold

I’m a giant klutz and ruined my poor Black Cherry Dolls Brownie’s gorgeous artist faceup (mishap involving glue and magnets). I ended up having to do a repaint myself (would eventually like to send the faceplate of for a custom faceup but will need to wait until shipping improves). I’m lucky though, as this is such a pretty sculpt that even a mediocre faceup looks pretty

My latest Goodwill Barbie haul was full of 70s fabulousness (and a little something from the early 60s).

First, Live Action Barbie with amazing hair:

Next, Quick Curl Barbie (who was in very rough shape, dirty with legs broken and hair a mess). This doll came with original dress and shoes, and the brush and curling tool:

Also included was Sweet 16 Barbie, the 16th anniversary Barbie from 1975. This one had both the original party dress and shoes included, as well as the original casual outfit (and even one of the hair clips!). I love the very mid 70s shag haircut:

And finally from a bit earlier in Barbie’s existence, a blonde Bubblecut Barbie (this is not a doll I would generally have looked for as I didn’t think I really liked the bubblecut hairstyle, but this doll won me over):

Got this quick sew outfit kit from my Mom at Christmas. I think I’m going to make it for this super cute Live Action Barbie I recently got from Goodwill

So this Goodwill haul is more about quality than quantity - every one of these dolls is perfect, they look like they just came out of their boxes. I feel so lucky I’ll post more/better pictures later but I was too excited to wait, but my camera battery died just as I started taking pictures.

My latest Goodwill haul is an instant collection of Dawn and her friends! I just love Mod era dolls and these tiny 6 inch cuties pack a ton of Mod style.

My little 1/6 Pidgin Doll keeping me company while I work - I swapped out the original wig (which was made by the artist, and was apparently inspired by Brooke Shields). I think the original wig was lovely, but I really think this one is super pretty too.

My beloved Heartstrung Ruse finally got some new eyes with smaller irises - I adore this doll so much

Went to our favorite cabin in the woods at a nearby hot springs spa town this weekend, and took these three tiny beauties along since the town has lots of Wiccan supply shops which seems like it would be right up their alley

And the pic below isn’t a great one of my little bjd, but I thought the spectacular chandelier deserved some attention as well - reminds me of something out of that movie ‘The Ritual’ - which seems very on theme as well.

Thanks to an awesome gift from @maleficentmrsofallevil my Tonner doll collection has increased dramatically! They’re so pretty

Always happy for an excuse to photograph my beautiful Boudi doll, and the arrival of the additional faceplates I ordered seems like the perfect excuse. I love the additional options this will give me for photos, and can’t wait to get started on the faceups

While waiting on the wigs I ordered for my little Echo Town Seven to arrive, I decided to swap wigs with my Maskcat Feline - and I think the result is very cute!

Found an incomplete but still super fun Barbie Dream Pool at Goodwill, so now my Malibu Barbies have something to do this winter.

This is the US Olympic Gold Medal Skier Barbie from the early 70s, who looks super cute in this 70s era sundress in the Barbie Townhouse from the same time period. I love how colorful the 70s were for Barbie, before pink became the dominant Barbie related color.

These dolls fulfill both my doll collectors urges AND my comic action figure/statue collector urges. These are the 14” tall Marvel themed fashion dolls Madame Alexander produced a few years back. I particularly love Captain America, although I think they missed out not having something like a shield shaped bag for the doll as the only shield is the buckle on the belt which is a detail tiny enough to miss.

I never really considered getting a Tonner doll (even though I thought they were very beautiful), as they are a bit larger than the fashion doll that I typically collect. However, Goodwill got a bunch of them donated to them, so I figured this was my chance to get one at a good price to see what they are all about. This one has beautiful hair and face paint, but didn’t come with any clothes - but I do have some MSD size doll clothes that work in a pinch.

I’m no sure which Tonner doll this is, but it is marked Tonner and 2003, and then someone (maybe the previous owner?) wrote ‘2007’ and something I can’t read on the back so maybe specifically from 2007. Does anyone out there know? One odd thing about this doll is that most of the Tonner dolls I saw looked like they had smooth, round, Barbie type breasts but this doll has sculpted and painted nipples which doesn’t look to be the norm for these dolls?

The Superstar Barbie Photo Studio case (which I think was a Sears exclusive?) is only 6x12 when all folded up (maybe 3 inches deep) but it opens up into a whole bunch of neat VERY 70’s backdrops for Superstar Barbie - and even came with stage lights and a camera (it originally came with the same orange chair as the Barbie Townhouse, but the case I bought didn’t have that - however since I have the townhouse I pulled one of the chairs from there for this shoot).

And I love an excuse to pull out my Superstar Barbie, who was one of my favorite Barbies when I was little.

I’ve been contemplating buying a reproduction of the 1962 Barbie Dreamhouse for a while, even though they are a bit pricey. But then I found this original on eBay, and for only $40 USD - and it’s pretty much complete (minus the red hangers for the closet wardrobe) and in pretty great condition for an original (or at least it seems like it’s in great condition compared to others of the same age I’ve seen, obviously it does have a bit of wear and tear as it was obviously loved and played with). The lighting isn’t the greatest in these pics but I wanted to get some shots as soon as I unpacked everything and got it all set up.

My Barbies don’t really need another house I suppose but I do like to spoil them

Should be working but just discovered that Rainbow High clothes fit my little Echo Town Seven

This #4 Barbie was a lucky eBay find, although obviously a little work was required to this back ready for display.

Here are my new #3 and #4 meeting:

And here are my new #3 and #4 together, ready for winter sports in some outfits found at Goodwill.
