So if Buck spent the night with the Diaz, is it too much to ask for A DOMESTIC SCENE WHERE THEY’RE PREPARING BREAKFAST WITH CHRIS!

OR THAT THEY GIVE US BUCK HUGGING AND COMFORTING EDDIE?

Can we just get buddie trapped in a elevator or something during the blackout so they can talk feelings and make out!!!!!

just had this silly goofy thought. what if eddie is crying (at least it looks like he’s crying or tearing up) in the promo stills because he’s finally emotionally connecting with his dad? like … fuck your parents and everything. but how much do we want to bet that as far as trauma and emotional suppression goes, ramon has dealt with a lot of the same feelings that eddie has? and that trauma and repression is likely what led to him being so disconnected from eddie

i know the use of whatta man was for soundtrack purposes but i think it would be really funny if one day, after buddie get together and everyone is chilling in the station, buck starts gushing about eddie and goes “i remember when i first saw him, the firehouse radio was playing whatta man and i was like ha yeah that’s appropriate” and then bobby looks buck dead in the eye and goes “buck, the firehouse doesn’t play music”

buck’s hair being all curly ‘cause he only thought to grab a handful of things before crashing at eddie’s and on that first morning when he’s complaining when he realises he didn’t grab any gel, eddie just casually mentions that he likes it curly and buck’s brain short-circuits for a second while eddie innocently hands him a cup of coffee over breakfast :)

Prediction for season six—

Bobby guilt over inviting Jonah into their family and getting Hen and Chim hurt vs. Buck guilt over inviting Taylor into their general vicinity, her reporting on Jonah, and getting Hen and Chim hurt: fight!

Is it just me or was Maddie extra invested in that call about the bipolar brother?

my thot process:

• recurring character the audience doesn’t care for but the dispatchers would still mourn
• not in the 5x17 guest cast list
• not in the dispatch wrap photo
• she’s trapped with May in the promos, maybe facing danger together prompts her to apologize for her behavior (redemption = death)
• after the 118 rescues them they hand her off to jonah and he makes her worse so he can try to save her but he fails
• may is worried about her so hen offers to follow up only to find out that she inexplicably died from what should have been treatable injuries, kicking off her and chim investigating jonah in 5x17
