To be loved is a calamity for someone with your job. You have work to do. Work. Love will try to see the words before it’s finished. Love makes work impossible. Survival is insufficient. I don’t want to live the wrong life and then die. I am at my best when I’m escaping.
@glytchghost thank you for your interest in our corvids! Now, don’t tell the chickens, but our corvid department is my favourite! The addition of teeth and clawed wing phalanges combined with their already impressive intelligence has proved quite the challenge. Even young ones like this sweet little guy (note the blue eyes and gape flange) need regular enrichment puzzles to keep them busy, otherwise they start investigating the door handles. Keeping everything child-proofed has worked so far, but we’ll see how long that lasts
