I was literally not even a teenager when I started reading Adlock fanfics… I was 12 … Now I’m 23
Ever wondered what came after this scene? Like, am I the only one? Do they wake her up? Are they waiting for her to wake up? Does Sherlock give her his robe or does she take it herself ?? DKSNKSDB
I am willing to bet they waited for her to wake up and Sherlock leaves his dressing gown on the end table beside the bed because he’d know she’d remember that it wasn’t there before she slept… which means he put it there when she was discovered and he put it there for her…
Then she wears the gown and slowly walks out of the room to hear Sherlock play the violin (because of course he’d play it he’s freaking happy she’s there).
She just watches him as she leans on the wall by the kitchen and John is seated on the desk by the window just watching them both, unsure of what to do.
Then Sherlock finishes and Irene claps, which makes Sherlock turn around in surprise.
“Beautiful.”
“I see you’re awake.”
“Ever the observant.”
Then Sherlock breaks the flirting with business and probably says something like, “I hope sleeping in my bed gives you enough energy to tell us what you’re doing here.”
“I have many reasons to be here, Mister Holmes, and most of them involve your bed.”
“Most but not all?
Irene rolls her eyes and sits on his chair when Sherlock was about to sit there. Because she knows that’s the seat that holds most dominance in the room. Of course she’ll sit there.
And Sherlock eyes John’s seat but he wouldn’t dare sit in front of her so as an act of defiance, grabs the other seat in front of John and sits in the middle of the room.
