My part of the collab with @nyu-yang! Princess Tutu and Odin Sphere crossover, because I absolutely love both and they give off basically the same tragic fairy tale vibes? so I didn’t change much, and just gave Tutu and Fakir similar elements from Gwendolyn’s and Oswald’s (namely wings and armor). I was struggling a lot with this piece, but I feel like it paid off in the end. As you know,
“May those who follow their fate be granted happiness; may those who defy it be granted glory”
Done with Sakura Micron pens, cleaned up in Clip Studio Paint and digitized in InkScape.

I love this series so much I made a tradition of watching it every year in December. I just happened to get across a post saying today was the day of this wonderful anime, so here’s some sketches since I had no time for more :´)

Been stewing on Autor’s role in this AU and Ive finally sat down and sketched him out boys heres what we got:
- Thanks to his distant, distant relation to Drosselmeyer, his memory of the events during the Ravens Reign isn’t completely gone – but its incredibly fractured and hazy. It’s more of a gut feeling.
- Teaches Piano at Goldencrown Academy - partly so he can stalk Fakir and also because he likes teaching
because it inflates his ego - Genuinely does not want to threaten Duck/Fakir/Anybody, he’s just had the story on the tip of his tongue for far too long and kinda goes a little haywire at the prospect of getting answers
- Fakir just…kind of puts up with his presence at the Academy, and the students get excited whenever they bump into each other because the tension is so palpable they always think they’re going to break out into a fight - which it never does
at least before Duck shows up - Fakir: Professor Autor (threatening) / Autor: Professor Fakir(derogatory)
- Duck still hates him for STARVING AND DENYING FAKIR SLEEP helLO??????
- Autor does not strike me as a cowardly person (dude fought off an axe with a dictionary) but boy does he start to rethink his approach when he realizes the person who he is provoking could very well write him out of existence

Zoe and I had finally watched all of Princess Tutu semi recently, and I was doodling in my watercolor sketchbook, and got carried away with this one.
But honestly, I love the look of the methods I used and colors, especially with the lines and stuff, so maybe sometime I’ll do a redo of this, full body to get all of her in there and make her look softer herself, you know?
