#alastor
A big reason? It’s completely superficial, but I just think they look good together. Their designs compliment each other well. Alastor’s dark aesthetic blends rather nicely to Angel Dusts pastels. They’re pretty to look at and tbh that’s more than enough of a reason to ship them. But I have one more major reason:
Alastor is asexual, and Angel Dust is rather hypersexual. From my own opinion, Angel uses his sexuality as a mask – he’s a man with insecurities and fears, as the Addict music video shows. He’s lonely, and the environment he made a home in was rich in sex. It’s essentially all it was. And because that’s all it was, it ended up becoming something easy for Angel Dust to latch on to and hide behind. He’s such a flirty, confident, sexual man; how could anyone be able to see how sad he really is? It’s also an easy substitute, the emotional intimacy he lacks can easily be replaced by something quick and physical, even if it doesn’t really help in the end.
That’s then where Alastor comes in. Because Alastor is asexual, it means he couldn’t be able to enable Angels hyper-sexual personality and in turn wouldn’t give Angel and easy mask to hide behind. It would force Angel to be upfront with his issues and actually tackle them, rather than just pretend that everything’s alright. With that, it would actually mean their relationship would have to be something, for lack of a better word, real. It wouldn’t be a fling, or a mindless hook-up, or another way for Angel to fill the void, but rather an actual connection between two people.
Of course if you interpret Angel Dust in a different way than I do then this entire dynamic falls apart LMAO but still, just my own lil’ OTP

Mysterious Neighbor AU
This follows the same premise as Hazbin but instead of hell, it takes place in New Orleans during the late 1920s. And instead of rehabilitating demons, Charlie tries to rehabilitate criminals.
With no progress on her advocation, Charlie vents to her next door neighbor, Alastor. But she is completely unaware of what the radio hosts does in his spare time.
