they could have so easily gone the “i will be a bright but short lived flame” route with reinhardt alchemystars because she very clearly enjoys her life even with all the tragedy and she also does understand her role as a symbol and Especially understands that the war will not be ended by her hands nor anytime soon with the preceding generations but i absolutely love how they instead went “actually i fight so hard specifically to survive. not only will I burn bright but i will also burn undyingly not only for myself but for all others”
