Now that E3 is done I can be focus time on youtube haha! I had some audio issues in the first match but this time its all fixed and much more bearable! This season I wanted to get as many wins as possible so I played flex which basically means I only get to go either Mercy or Rein Watch this video to find out how I get on and subscribe if you like it so that I’m closer to 400 subs :D
Overwatch videos are back! And we are starting with a fuck up There is no game audio in this video which was fun to find out when I was editing but I added my own sound effects to make up for it. Hopefully now I can start being in a routine with Overwatch being uploaded on Wednesdays and Last of Us on Sundays! Ohhh no… It happened…
Overwatch 2 was officially announced at BlizzCon 2019 today! From someone that has been mildly and unhealthily obsessed with Overwatch since it was first announced (you could even say I was interested even before it was officially known as Overwatch, RIP Titan), I think OW2 looks amazing, and I am already consummately consumed with anticipatory-giddiness!
Anyway! With the new iteration comes some great character redesigns! Ithink all of them are mostly fantastic (Reinhardt’s top-knot hair is… Choices™️) and it’s nice that they’re more subtle tweaks instead of complete reworkings or overhauls. The silhouettes of these characters are just so well crafted! Both from a character/personality standpoint and from a game design perspective; the silhouettes immediately signal to players which character is which, even from large distances, even with the expansive library of skins. So these designs are excellent because it shows proportionate character progression (it’s just been 3 years since OW was released, but I don’t know how much in-game time has supposedly passed) while simultaneously streamlining and modernizing the character’s designs.
They haven’t released all of the updated designs, but I’ve made these handy GIFs that compare the New Lewks with the Current Lewk for each hero since the interface on PlayOverwatch.com kinda sucks…
Now my only hope is that Blizzard stops being a dumbass in time for Overwatch 2′s release! Because I definitely won’t buy anything from Blizzard while they’re still stifling the right to protest and freespeech.

Fire Emblem Heroes – Champions of Another World
I admit it. This game has put me in Gatcha hell…and I’m enjoying every moment of it ⊙‿⊙
As such, I decided to draw my most used/favorite FEH team (I’m a dirty +10 Reinhardt user, sorry). Nintendo and IS have really done a fantastic job with this game. If not for the constant updates and reaction to player feedback, I could have seen this game dying a long time ago.
And seeing how popular this game is, it makes me happy that it has been an incredibly effective introduction point to new players who don’t know much about the older games. Hopefully this will allow IS to make more remakes of some older games that never made it to the States.
I got too ambitious with the composition of this piece. I went through several iterations and ended up doing this on a 35x20 in canvas, so be sure to check out some of the detail shots. I know I’m not great with small detail stuff, as I tend to be scratch in my line work and even scratchier with my colors. But I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out!
