The future Emperor of Tiphic, Aleksandr, affectionately known as Sasha, is a favourite of both his family and his future people. Approaching adulthood, he is finally going to have a say in matters both in court and regarding courting. Excited about the possibility of a romance like his parents, he is ready to throw himself into love with open arms. Unfortunately, nothing is fair regarding love at court.

While Cassius is playful and Jax is somber, Alex is the middle ground that bridges their differences. Cassius, also, particularly, loves Alex’s habit of hoarding pinecones and tending to bees, and teases him tor being too sweet, like honey (✿◠‿◠)
This was a warmup doodle that turned into a quick comic because I love them, and Jax having a type that’s “dragons” is adorable. Alex notoriously hoards pinecones, Cass likes to tease him abt it but refuses to acknowledge that he hoards too (Cassius is a shen long, Aleksandr is a Zmei. Both dragons, different kinds. Jax is…. Jax).
