#and its just not going

I’ve really been wanting to play the remaster of Chrono Cross since it came out a couple days ago. But I also really want to finish my next chapter of my fan fic. So I’ve been telling myself when I finish the chapter, I’ll play the game.

But I’ve been stuck on ONE SCENE for a while now and it’s driving me nuts! I know what I want to do after that scene. I have detailed notes on what I want to do after that scene. But I need to write the inbetween bit before I can get to it and finish it. I’ve been writing and rewriting it so many times. I wouldn’t really call it a writer’s block. It’s more like a series of writer’s speed bumps. Just when I think I’m getting into a rhythm, picking up momentum to move the scene along I get to a break in the dialog or a description of actions and everything comes to a crawl as I try to figure out how to make it all flow smoothly.

And all the while I keep thinking “I really wanna play Chrono Cross to take a break.” But I know once I boot that game up, it’s gonna be the only thing I’ll be doing for like, the next week. And I really wanna finish this chapter!
