I have a craving for the very specific whump trope where a magical healer is using up their magic in the middle of an enemy camp, and they know they’re exhausting themselves, they know they’re not safe, they know that the enemy is going to capture them, but they can’t just leave their patient.

They’re a healer.  They will heal.  At whatever cost.
