ash-and-bone-whump:

Two characters that are beaten to absolute shit, but still manage to drag themselves across the ground so they can collapse next to each other instead of apart. <3

redstainedsocks:

Just thinking about a whumpee at a formal event, injured, bleeding. And for whatever reason, needing to hide that fact behind an upright posture and hoping it doesn’t show up through their formal attire

Wrapping a scarf or shawl around their shoulders, a dark suit jacket concealing blooming blood patterns, long robes covering up a limp, a masquerade mask over black eyes

Blood dripping slowly down the inside of their arm to a clenched fist, just hoping it won’t drip onto the pristine marble floors

defiant whumpees who slap their whumper.

it was the first and onlytime.

and whumpers who make sure of that.

@hackles-up this makes me think about Dany and Ridley, somehow….

whumptopia:

“You can’t be here,” the whumpee protests, squirming in their bonds as the caretaker starts to cut them loose. “You have to leave before, before—”

“Hey, quit moving!” the caretaker admonishes, frowning when they accidentally nick the writhing whumpee with their blade. “I don’t wanna hurt you.”

Accustomed to orders and threats, the whumpee immediately stills. I don’t want to hurt you usually means the exact opposite, in their experience, but they need to protect the caretaker, even if doing so means punishment.

The caretaker offers them a reassuring smile as they saw through the ropes. The whumpee pouts, their bottom lip trembling as tears pool in their eyes. The last thing they want is to put the caretaker in danger, and if the whumper realizes they’re here, they’ll be killed.

The whumpee’s voice quivers as they frantically try to convince them. “Please, please, listen to me. You gotta get out of here before he finds you. Please, go, p-please. I can’t see you get h-hurt.”

adrenaline-whump:

Tied to a chair, the whumpee refuses to answer the whumper’s question.  He endures the alternating punches and demands with only the occasional grunt of pain, even as blood streams down his face.  Finally, the frustrated whumper yanks his captive’s head back by the hair and holds a blade to his throat, nearly screaming his question…and the whumpee caves.  With eyes squeezed shut and hands white-knuckled on the arms of the chair, he gasps the name of the location he’d kept secret until now.  Triumphant, the whumper strides away, and the whumpee slumps forward…to conceal the slow smile that spreads over his cracked and bleeding lips.

straight-to-the-pain:

Small signs of suffering

I love those little things that give away clues as to what happened to the whumpee in captivity.

Bruises on their knees from having to kneel on something hard, red marks around their wrists from the restraints, their eyes red from lack of sleep, their hair damp with sweat…

The whumpee doesn’t need to say anything, because the signs of their suffering are painted clearly on their body.

“Just fucking kill me!”

“Why would I do that, and lose my favorite toy?”

“I’ll kill you,” X screamed as they were dragged away, “if you touch them, I’ll kill you.”

Y smiled and crouched in front of Z, who curled into themself.  “Now, what are we going to do with you?”  They asked softly.  Z couldn’t help the small whimper which escaped them.

The magical whumpee is thrown onstage in front of a crowd of hundreds, forced to use their powers to “perform” for the audience’s amusement. But after weeks of beatings, starvation, and humiliation, the whumpee is so weak they can barely stand. They try to perform anyway, although they’re unsteady on their feet, because they know they’ll be punished if they don’t. They barely manage to move a finger before they collapse on the stage out of sheer pain and exhaustion. The last thing they hear before they pass out is the audience’s laughter.

Yes please???

robins-whump:

“Oh, darling,” the whumper cooed. They looked down at the whumpee, snivelling and crying on the floor. The whumpee shook, heaving with sobs and exhaustion, tear tracks cutting lines through the dirt on their face. The whumper leaned down a stroked hand down their cheek, ignoring the soft flinch from the whumpee.

The whumper smiled, tucking a lock of hair behind the whumpee’s ear. You look so fucking pathetic.”

straight-to-the-pain:

Thinking about a newbie medic being forced to work for an organisation that tortures people, very nervously and awkwardly trying to treat people who have been brutally hurt by the very same people who now want them patched up.

Trying to touch them as gently as possible to prevent further pain, and the person they’re trying to treat just gets pissed off instead because why are they pretending to care? It’s not like it makes any difference. Their careful work will be undone the next time the guards come knocking.

Naively asking their boss if they can have some pain meds allocated for the prisoners and just getting a laugh in response. Having to do procedures they know are painful without anaesthetic. Bonus points if they genuinely can’t leave and they’re as much a prisoner as the the people they have to treat, and bonus bonus points if they get hurt if someone dies on their watch.

whumppsee:

The choice game

(Tw: torture, betrayal, broken bones, forced to watch)

The rules are simple. Whumper gathers Leader and Whumpee in the same room. Every 20 minutes Leader gets to choose which one of them will be tortured next.

But what Whumpee doesn’t know, is it’s not a free choice at all. If Leader chooses Whumpee, then Whumpee gets whipped. If he chooses himself, Whumpee gets one of his bones broken. If he doesn’t choose at all or informs Whumpee about the game, Whumpee gets immadiatelly killed.

The only way to stop it is either by Whumpee’s death or by telling Whumper the information he wants.

From this place the ending can change depending on their personalities / how good relations Whumpee and Leader have.

—————

  • Leader keeps choosing Whumpee to make him suffer less. But he can’t bare Whumpee’s heartbreaking crying for help. After multiple choices he breakes and begs Whumper to beat him instead. But rules are rules. Despite of Leader’s screams of protest, Whumpee’s leg gets broken.

(Works well when the Leader is also a Caretaker)

——————

  • “I am not playing your games, Whumper”

“Oh, a reveal already? That’s a shame, you don’t really know how to have fun at all” He pulls Whumpee’s head back by his hair and exposes his neck. Presses the scalpel against his throat “Don’t look away now. It’s the consequence of your choice.”

Leader decides to not play at all. It’s a hard decision to make, but it’s the right one. He knows the instant death is a luxury while they are trapped by their torturer without any hope for escaping. There is nothing better than death waiting anyway.

Now it’s only on Leader to keep the informations safe and bare the interrogation alone. He showes he’s not the one to blackmail anyhow, because he’s ready to sacrifice it all.

———————

  • Leader chooses himself right away to show Whumpee it’s a game. He doesn’t trust him enough to believe Whumpee wouldn’t spill the information while feeling betrayed. Also he won’t give Whumper the satisfaction of making them play by his rules.

“Looks like your precious Captain decided it’s worth to sacrifice your bones to make sure you shut up” Whumper laughts as the terror and realisation grows on Whumpee’s face. “Don’t worry, I will give you a choice too. Otherwise it wouldn’t be fair, right?” Whumper picks up a hammer from the corner of the room and then slowly approaches dragging it on the floor “Now, Whumpee. Your left leg or your right leg?”

———————-

  • Leader trusts Whumpee and has Whumpee’s trust back. He’s completly calm about the information. The priority for Leader is to choose the less damage possible. So the interrogation keeps going with Whumpee being chosen over and over.

Whumper keeps on mocking Whumpee, while he’s sobbing and trembling in pain. “What’s that? Isn’t your Captain going to help you?” Whumper hitshim with a whip with all the strenght “Come on! Beg him or start talking! Beg him to help you!”

“Please sir! Please make it stop!”

“What do you say, Leader? Are you changing places?”

He doesn’t lift his eyes from the floor, as he responds coldly: “Continue”

***

After the interrogation ends / they get rescued, Whumpee confronts Leader first:

“I guessed it was arranged. I just thought I should play along to keep Whumper occupied for longer. Thank you for trusting me, sir”

late night whumper lines

1. “You’re going to be good for me now, aren’t you?”

2. “Nope! Wrong answer. Maybe you’ll have better luck guessing which bone I’m gonna break next?”

3. “Look at me. Look. Hm…there we are. Much better.”

4. “I’ll give you a real reason to cry if you don’t shut your sad little mouth.”

5. “Hm. You’re no fun when you stop screaming. Maybe Caretaker had better take your place? They seem like fun.”

shameless-whumper:

An underappreciated whump location, the back seat of cars.

*Whumpee grabbed and thrown in the back of a car.

*Pinned down in tight quarters, Whumper sitting on top of their legs, holding them down.

*Feet kicking uselessly against the inside of a car door.

*Whumpee trying to open the car door and jump out while the car is moving.

*Hit with a tire iron

*Tied up with a seatbelt

*Whumpee duct taped or tied up and buckled safely in their seat.

*Whumpee in the middle seat, squeezed between two henchman.

*Whumper and Whumpee in the backseat as a henchman drives. What kind of fun can Whumper get up to in such close quarters?

*The aesthetic of blood in the back of a car and the story it tells.

*The pet Whumpee with their new owner, riding home in the back of an expensive car or limousine. Kneeling obediently on the floor mat. Or seated uncomfortably beside their new owner, a possessive hand on their thigh.

*Which is worse? Sitting in ridged silence the whole time, or their new owner asking questions about them or telling them their new rules.

*Caretaker driving with Whumpee unconscious in the backseat. They can’t do anything to help them, they can’t do anything but drive to someone who can, or drive somewhere safe.

*Caretaker driving an awake Whumpee, who stares out the window with vacant eyes.

*Whumpee laying across old cracked seats, the smell of vintage leather.

*Midnight roads and unknown destinations.

*Shared glances in the rearview mirror.

*The feeling of dread as Whumper puts the car in park and announces, “We’re here”.

I love the limbo of a scene in a moving car. The idea that Whumpee is in grave danger, but as long as the car is moving, they are safe for the moment. The tension between occupants who know when they reach their destination, is when it really begins.

The anxiety of a Caretaker feeling helpless, yet knowing driving is all they can do, driving as fast as they can, but will it be fast enough?

Yes yes yes. Give me more car whump, please and thank you.
