A remake of a drawing done in late 2020 plus a new one with the 10-year old Destiny wearing her Cosmoem dress! The family photoshoot was Kukui family’s idea in which Ash and Goh repeated later to mark the tenth anniversary of their child!

Two illustrations that can also serve as concept art for an idea I would like to explore better sometime in a future comic: To the surprise of her parents, friends and close acquaintances it’s discovered at a point that just like Ash, not only Destiny is an Aura Guardian as her Alakazam owns the Battle Bond ability, allowing the Pokémon to adopt an alternate temporary form that had been documented before to be only possible with Greninja.
This is a drawing I’ve made shortly after my recent trip to abroad where I rewatched “Lucario and the Mystery of Mew”’s movie in my return plane. If you never watched it please do because it’s one of the best old movies of Pokémon! The drawing might end to be part of a future comic I’m thinking to create where Ash finds a Time Flower in an very unlikely place.
Today I didn’t feel very productive unfortunately. On the other hand I managed to develop one idea I had for a while: a Cosmoem dress for Destiny to wear in special occasions such as retaking a family photo (a drawing I want to do with this grown Destiny and update the older one I drew a long time ago), participating in a Pokémon Contest (she would try at a point of her journey), to go to an important party or even to witness her parents wedding vows renewal!
It would have been too good to be true to get a free TM like this, right xD? So what’s the move that Abra will learn in the end if not Psychic? Find out the answer on the final part of the comic next Wednesday!
It’s not the first time an Abra decides to teleport to Ash this way xD (Check Johto’s animé arc for that!)! I find curious that the use of Technical Machines was never shown in the animé. There are however other different models across the franchise that I didn’t even know. One of the oldest designs is this cube one I saw a few months back when I read Toshihiro’s mangá series of “The Electric Tale of Pikachu” and decided to use it as a fun reference to that obscure and really old parallel universe of the show. If there are two different formats in the current canon, I like to think that in the Pokémon world it was developed different types of Technical Machines that ended up perfected in the format of compact discs and digital paper scrolls. Similarly to what happens in real life with data storage formats (I’m still from the time you had to carry floppies to school, haha)!
