Due to thispost, I felt it would be nice to have a single place where I disclose the fate of those games of mine that are still prototypes/demos.
I am still not sure when I’ll come back with a new project or not, but I am indeed working on a short idea that will help me. I hope I can show it soon!
Corallo: HIATUS/To be remade As much as I love Corallo and it was always a joy to make assets for it, I feel like the game in its state and the plot I had planned don’t represent me as much anymore. I have grown, improved on my skills and can clearly see the messy writing all over the place. For now, the game is still on indefinite hiatus, the download will be up for everyone until I remake it, and it’s possible it will not be a fangame anymore. We’ll see.
Mr. Kohei’s Horror Show: To be remade As I mentioned in the post above, Mr. K will be quite the longest game I’ve ever done and it requires effort. The remake from the ground up (assets wise) will be made on VX Ace. This is quite a change but I feel much more comfortable on Ace than on MV, where I had quite a few problems.
Sunlight Ray (Sequel to Starlit Droplet): Early Planning I am working on a plot and trying to make sense of the ideas that I have in my brain. I have a diagram of the outline and I already planned some characters, but there’s still a long way to go. No assets or maps design are done yet. This project *might* be completely different from the previous entry, but it’s hard to say this early.

That’s it, that’s all, it’s over! We’re closing out the campaign at $36,573, which means we didn’t QUITE hit our second stretch goal, but we got close enough that we’re absolutely going to go through with the second page rate increase for contributors and… well, we’ll see what we can do about that bonus comic.
Up next for us is prepping, proofing, and printing the book, as well as paying all our contributors once Kickstarter deposits the funds in our account! We’re also going to finish setting up our Crowd Ox page so that backers can add extra stuff onto their pledge and folks who missed the main campaign can slip on through before fulfillment.
