New Tokyo studio update:

As you might know, we recently moved our apartment/studio back to Tokyo. We had a few reasons for relocating outside the city in the first place - cheaper rent, beautiful seaside of Enoshima, and more “breathing space” were the main ones. 

Recently though, as I finished the “Tokyo at Night” book, we decided that it’s time to try a more compact style of living and enjoy the city a bit more. Especially now, when we are both working freelance and are no longer restricted by the working hours of a company or studio. 

We searched for an apartment located in a part of Tokyo that interests us and promises some inspiring experiences and sights. (This especially for Kana as she is currently making a small book about Edo - old Tokyo). In the end, we found a suitable building with a beautiful view in the East part of Tokyo not so far away from the Tokyo Sky Tree.

Only now, after about two weeks of moving and all the things that come with it, we managed to bring our new Tokyo studio almost to completion. Few things have to be tweaked (and already are), but I took some photos to show you where we will be making our art for some time - until we get the moving fever again and decide it’s time to change our surroundings.
