Let me tell you a short photo-story about Ugandan coffee from the Elgon region.
The altitude and environment this coffee enjoys are two of the reasons for its distinctive flavor. That aroma reminiscent of fine wines.
The coffee from this region is grown with love by locals in humble conditions. There are no large farms, so everything is home grown by men, women and children.
The region is remote and accessing it took us a 2 hours trek combined with some steep climbs.
Visiting this place will make you appreciate that unique full-tasting cup of Arabica coffee an extra.
