This was a simple knit, and is the sister to the Antarktis shawl I made recently. It was great for knitting on the streetcar, since there are no stitches more complicated than a k2tog yo combination. I made this shawl for A’s mom, who wanted one similar to my shawl, and who was really nice and gave me her Garmin equivalent of a fitbit, when she got a new fitbit.

10/10 would make again! When I bought Antarktis and this pattern, it was a buy 2 get one free special, so I still have one more lovely shawl pattern to make. I think I have a yarn in mind, but it will be a little while before I get to making it, since I have a few other things I want to make first. At some point though!

Ardent by Janina Kallio, my project here on Ravelry. I used yarn I got at Romni, which was Estelle Yarns Alpace Merino Fine. The yarn is a very different texture than the Malabrigo I used to make my shawl, as it is much fuzzier rather than smooth. I still think it is good for shawls, but will be warmer potentially than the last one.

“You can’t expect everyone to conform to yourrules!”

“Why not?” said the dwarf. “You do.”
