D&D getting real exciting recently. My academic nerd rogue has rushed in to try to stop a baddie from claiming a magic artifact. The baddie tried to *suggest* Briar go away and do something else, but I rolled well enough that that didn’t take and Briar got to be a snarky loner. Briar considers the other members of her party more like co-workers. Vital for getting the job done, but she’s not here to make friends. (She is here to make money. She has student loans. And an overdue thesis. She doesn’t have time for friends.)
I, uh, took some liberties DMing the final battle (The Spider was actively trying to get at the Forge of Spells which was actually quite dangerous and powered her up a bit) in the Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure whICH WE JUST FINISHED LAST NIGHT!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!! OUR FIRST ADVENTURE IS COMPLETE!!!!!! Anyway I’m still not over how freakin cool magpie made this look so this is retroactively absolutely what the Forge of Spells looks like
