#arthurs seat
Climbed up Arthur’s Seat n it was pretty glorious! First thing in the morning we had it almost entirely to ourselves. On the route back down we starting chasing each other through a seemingly endless sea of yellow gorse, laughing and out of breath. Then we headed back to the city and it was a little bit like we woke up suddenly from a shared dream, within minutes we were amongst people and cars and coffee shops again

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way,
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

My Edinburgh trip is already over. I’m sitting on the plane waiting to go home and I’m so gutted. I’ll miss this incredible view (but not the 822ft climb to get there).
