Does anyone else have a reaction to Alan Lee’s art like… that’s Middle-earth. I don’t know how to explain it! I feel like his art captures something about LOTR perfectly. And it’s more than just his incredible skill with watercolors, with composition, with colors, etc… Like, I know this is a painting, but it feels so real it makes me believe that Alan Lee was actually in Lothlórien when the Fellowship arrived, and he painted this scene from real life. That’show convincing it is! It completely transports me there!
