“Y/N, Hongjoong wants you in his office in ten minutes,” San informed you while arranging a stack of papers.

“Why?” you questioned, glancing up at him from your laptop. He shrugged in response. “Okay, I’ll go after I finish this,” you said, continuing your work of finding a couple of drug peddlers.

After completing half of your work, you made your way to Hongjoong’s lavish office. You knocked on the large double door, entering when you got his permission.

You weren’t surprised to see Hongjoong’s personal assistant bending over his bocote wood desk, her cleavage on full display for him. Hongjoong didn’t seem bothered, but it did bother you a lot. After all, the mafia boss is your significant other.

You cleared your throat. “You wanted to see me?” you said to your boyfriend who was scanning you from head to toe because of the new outfit you were wearing; he thought you looked absolutely stunning in the red dress that fell to your mid-thigh and hugged your curves.

“Can’t you see we’re busy here?” his assistant said, and you controlled the urge to roll your eyes. Sometimes you wished everyone knew about your relationship, but it was dangerous as you could be used as Hongjoong’s weakness by his enemies. Even people at his mafia organization couldn’t be completely trusted.

“I don’t give a fuck,” you said to his assistant before turning to your boyfriend. “San said you wanted to see me.”

“Yes, I had something to discuss with you,” Hongjoong stated before glancing at his assistant. “Could you leave us, Jina?” she rolled her eyes but obeyed him, having other work to do. She gave you a disgusted look and walked out of his office, purposely swaying her hips more, shutting the door harshly behind her.

“If you don’t fire her, I’m gonna personally put a bullet into her head,” you said in a stern tone, crossing your arms over your chest.

“You know she’s the best for this job, baby. I can’t fire her.” Of course, you knew that, but you still felt quite uncomfortable with her working with your boyfriend, considering that they used to fuck and only stopped once Hongjoong started dating you which was only four months ago; she also tries to seduce him on a daily basis, but Hongjoong doesn’t even glance at her.

“Lock the door and come here,” Hongjoong ordered, patting his lap. You locked the door but chose to sit on one of the sofas in his office. Hongjoong raised an eyebrow. “That’s not where I asked you to sit.”

“I know,” you answered. Hongjoong got up from his chair, making his way towards you. He sat down beside you, pulling you onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around your waist, making sure you wouldn’t get off his lap.

“I’m aware you dislike Jina, but you have nothing to worry about,” he said. “Are you still uncomfortable with her working here?”

“Of course I am, Joong,” you said. “She’s always constantly throwing herself at you. She even gets to go with you for all your business overseas. For all I know, she could be giving you the best suck of your life when I’m not around.”

Hongjoong chuckled, kissing the skin below your ear. “There’s only one person who can give me the suck of my life and that’s you. Your pretty mouth takes me so well.”

You snorted, looking away. “That’s probably what you told her as well,” you muttered.

Hongjoong cupped your cheek, making you look at him. “I know I’ve got some history with her, but trust me, you’re the only one I want and need,” he stated, gently stroking your skin with his thumb. “She could spread her legs wide for me, but she could never capture my heart like you did. You’re all I need, baby.”

Your heart raced at his words and you crashed your lips onto his, wrapping your arms around his neck. Hongjoong immediately kissed you back, pulling you closer to his body by your waist. He traced your bottom lip with his tongue, asking for permission which you happily granted. Without breaking the kiss, you moved to straddle his lap, hands moving to his hair. Hongjoong’s hands gripped your hips, pushing you down onto his growing bulge, making you let out a small moan while he moved you on his bulge. He broke the kiss, trailing kisses from your lips to your neck, easily finding your sweet spot that was so familiar to him. He sucked on it gently, not wanting to leave any marks for now. His hands moved down to your bare thighs, caressing your skin, before he pushed your dress up to your waist. Your hands reached down to unzip his pants, quickly freeing his hard cock. You got off of him and took your panties off, tossing it onto the space beside him before you came back to your previous position. You both had to be really quick, knowing someone could interrupt at any moment.

You pumped Hongjoong’s cock before lining it with your entrance. You gripped his shoulder while sank down on his length till the end. You gave yourself a few seconds to adjust to his size before you started bouncing on him. Hongjoong gripped your ass, helping you move faster on him. You bit your lip, preventing yourself from moaning when he started slamming you on his cock. You threw your head back when you felt him hitting your spot. “Fuck!” he groaned when your walls clenched around him repeatedly.

“Joong, I-I’m close,” you said when you felt the knot forming, eyes closing due to how good you felt.

“Me too.” Hongjoong licked his fingers before rubbing your clit in circular motions, giving it small taps and applying pressure to it. He gave your clit a slight pinch before rubbing it in an up and down motion. The pleasure was too much and you reached your high the second Hongjoong asked you to cum for him. You let him cum inside of you as you were on the pill, and you continued riding him for a few more seconds until you collapsed onto his chest.

You lifted your head up to look at him and he loved how your face looked post-orgasm. “Fuck, I love you,” he confessed, bringing your lips to his. You smiled against his lips, kissing him back for a few seconds before you got off of him, reaching for your panties. You quickly used his office’s bathroom and fixed your appearance.

“Do I look okay?” you asked Hongjoong who was now sitting on his chair, fiddling with his handgun. He nodded his head with a smile, admiring you. “You look gorgeous, Y/N.” You chuckled and walked over to him, placing a quick peck on his lips. “We have a date tonight, don’t forget.”

“Wouldn’t miss it,” he said with a smirk. You placed one more kiss on his lips before you started to leave.

Your hand paused on the door handle. “Oh and Joong?” you turned around to look at him with a smile.

“Hmm?”

“I love you too.”

You woke up in a room that was similar to the one you were in at the human auction. You shivered in fear. Was your cousin really going to sell you now?

You broke down in tears. You didn’t expect things to turn out this way at all. You wished you knew where your father was so that you could report your uncle and his son easily.

The door of the room you were in opened and a man walked in. “Ah! You’re awake!”

“Where am I?” you asked Bojoon, glaring at him with disgust.

“At an auction, sweetheart.” Your heart dropped. “Let’s hope someone buys you for a very high price.” You felt your stomach churn with anxiety. Who was going to help you now? You wished you hadn’t gone to the club.

“But before that…” he stepped forward to caress your cheek with the back of his hand. “I’m going to make you scream.”

He moved his hand slowly from your cheek, down to your chest. “Stop,” you whispered, earning a hard slap from him. He pushed you against the wall, forcing his knee in between your legs. Your cheek stung badly and you were sure his hand would’ve left a mark.

He snarled, harshly pulling on your hair. “Don’t you dare open your mouth, you fucking bitch!”

He ripped the top part of your dress in half, exposing your upper body that was now only covered by your bra. You brought your hands up to cover yourself, but he pushed them away. Reaching into his pocket, he took out a pocket knife, making a large cut on your arm. You whimpered in pain, eyes filling with tears. He smirked at the cut that had began to bleed.

“Blood, my favorite! Ah, this makes it more exciting, doesn’t it?” you didn’t reply, trying to control the urge to break down.

He moved his hands to your thighs. “Let’s have some fun now, shall we?”

Bojoon was just about to touch your core, but someone snuck up behind him, piercing his neck with a syringe.

You slid down the wall, eyes scrunched closed and ears covered while Bojoon screamed in pain. In a few seconds, the screaming stopped and you heard him fall to the floor with a thud. You slowly peaked, finding Bojoon unconscious on the floor. Was he dead?

You glanced up at the two figures who were present in the room, both dressed in all black; one of them was smaller than the other. Both of them were wearing a black mask and hat. The bigger one approached you, kneeling down. He took his leather jacket off, wrapping it around your body.

“Wear it. It’s cold,” he said softly, helping you slide your arms into the sleeves. He zipped the jacket up to the top before helping you stand up. The jacket came right below your knee.

“Let’s get out of here fast, Yunho,” the smaller one said and you recognized him. You were surprised you couldn’t recognize Yunho by his voice.

“San…?”

“Yes, it’s me, Kiah,” San replied and you sighed in relief before breaking down in tears again.

San approached you and slowly pulled you into his arms. “Shh, you’re safe now. We won’t let anyone hurt you, alright?” You didn’t say anything while you cried onto his chest, tears soaking his shirt.

“Kiah, we have to get out of here before his men come here,” Yunho remarked. “Can I carry you?” You nodded and Yunho took you from San’s arms, lifting you bridal-style.

“Yeosang, is the area clear?” San questioned through his earpiece.

“Yes, but there’s someone at the exit,” Yeosang informed.

“Got it,” San said before turning to Yunho. “Alright, let’s go. Kiah, just close your eyes, okay?” You nodded, obeying him.

You could feel Yunho running fast with you in his arms. You heard a gunshot, making you let out a scream, scrunching your eyes tightly.

“Don’t worry. I’ve got you,” Yunho whispered to you.

After a few more seconds, you felt Yunho place you on a car seat. You opened your eyes, watching Yunho close the car door and run to the driver’s seat. San quickly slides into shotgun before shooting someone who came out of the building.

Yunho immediately started to drive and San shifted to the backseat, sitting beside you. He took off his mask and hat, ruffling his hair with his hand.

“Are you okay?” San asked worriedly.

“Y-Yeah,” your voice broke and you began to cry. San pulled you into his arms, letting you cry on him again. There was a lot of blood dripping down your arm from the cut Bojoon gave you.

“Yunho, how far are we from home?” San questioned. “Kiah’s bleeding and we don’t have a first aid kit in this car.”

“We’re about two kilometers away,” Yunho answered, speeding up.

In about three minutes, you reached Ateez’s mansion. This time, San carried you inside, walking at a fast pace.

“Yeosang! Seonghwa!” he yelled before setting you down on the couch in a room that looked like a medical laboratory. There was another room attached to it and you could obviously tell that it was an operating room. You weren’t surprised as you knew Ateez had enough money to have their own mini hospital at home.

The two men cautiously approached you, not wanting to accidentally trigger you in any way after they were filled in about what happened.

“I’m fine,” you told them.

Seonghwa sat beside you, slowly touching your arm. “Can I?” he asked and you nodded. He pushed the sleeve of Yunho’s black leather jacket up, revealing the bleeding cut. “Could you take the jacket off so that I can treat you?” you did as he said.

He cleaned the cut with cotton dipped in lukewarm water and you flinched at the sting. Looking down at the cut, you noticed how it was wider on one side.

“You will need stitches,” Seonghwa stated. You glanced at the cut; he was right, of course.

“Are you hurt anywhere else?” Yeosang asked.

You shook your head. “No… Only my head hurts.” Seonghwa started to gather whatever he needed to stitch up your wound.

Yeosang nodded. “I’ll give you a painkiller for your head.” He said, moving to the cabinet.

“Okay,” you replied before turning to look at San and Yunho. “Thank you…”

“You don’t have to thank us, Kiah,” Yunho said with a smile. “We’re just glad you’re safe.”

After Seonghwa stitched and bandaged your wound, he asked you a few questions about how you were feeling while Yeosang made you take a painkiller.

A loud bang was heard and Hongjoong stormed into the room.

“Do you even realize what you’ve fucking done?!” Hongjoong yelled at you in a stern tone. He looked extremely angry; it actually really scared you.

“I’m sorry,” you whispered, lowering your head in shame.

He scoffed. “You should be fucking sorry! And you two,” he turned to face San and Yunho who looked just as scared as you. “How dare you both start your own little mission without asking me, hmm?! We made a deal with Moon Younghyun long ago that we will not interfere in their personal matters and they won’t interfere in ours! Do you even realize who you killed?! You killed his fucking son!” You flinched at the way he was yelling. “You’ve put yourselves and our entire gang in unnecessary danger!”

“We didn’t kill him,” San mumbled, not making eye contact with Hongjoong. “We only made him unconscious.”

“And you went through all that fucking bullshit for what?” Hongjoong pointed a finger at you. “To get this damn chick out?! She doesn’t even want to be here!” You felt really bad that the boys were getting scolded because of you.

“She was going to get sold again, hyung,” Yunho mumbled while looking at the floor.

Hongjoong chuckled bitterly. “So what? Like I said before, she doesn’t want to be here. She escaped from us, right? Why the fuck are you so bothered about her?! Whether she gets sold or not, it’s not our fucking problem!” Your eyes teared up; you felt so guilty for escaping.

“That’s enough, Hongjoong,” Seonghwa stated sternly.

“Don’t take their side when you know that they’re wrong, Seonghwa,” Hongjoong retorted.

“Do you even know what Moon Younghyun’s son was going to do to Kiah?”

“No, and I seriously don’t care about what he was going—”

“He was going to rape her, Hongjoong. He already assaulted her,” Seonghwa explained, cutting Hongjoong off. “Fortunately, San and Yunho got there in time.”

There was pin-drop silence in the room.

Hongjoong opened his mouth a couple of times to say something, but nothing came out. He looked like he was in deep thought.

“I… I’m sorry,” he whispered, not looking at you, before leaving the room. You wondered what suddenly came over him.

“Is he okay?” you questioned.

“Don’t worry about it,” Seonghwa said with a small smile. He exchanged a glance with Yeosang who nods and leaves the room as well. You were pretty confused by their glance-communication, but you didn’t say anything.

“I’m really sorry,” you apologized to San and Yunho. "You both got scolded because of me.”

San frowned. “Don’t apologize, Kiah. We’ve been scolded many times before.”

“Yeah,” Yunho agreed with San. “Hyung is just angry because we didn’t tell him about it and he’s scared to lose us. If we had informed him, he would be the first person to rescue you.”

You only nod, accepting whatever they said. “By the way… how did you both find me?” You couldn’t help but ask.

“Well, Yunho and I were searching for you everywhere after you left,” San explained. “We figured you’d go to a club or some bar, so we checked everywhere. Yunho saw you passing out and by the time he ran to our own car to go after you, your cousin’s car was no where in sight. Yeosang had to hack into a lot of cameras in close-by areas to find out where exactly you were taken to.” You nodded, listening to whatever he was saying.

“Kiah?” Yunho started in a hesitant tone. “Do you… really not want to live with us?”

You let out a sigh as you pondered about what he said. “I don’t want to, honestly. There’s nothing wrong with you guys, but the whole mafia lifestyle… I just didn’t expect that. I really just want to become a nurse and live a normal life.”

“Kiah, I’d like to mention something,” Seonghwa said in a soft tone. “Your uncle has been in the mafia business since before you were even born.” Your eyes widened at his words as you didn’t know that; you thought your uncle was just a corrupted politician. “You were basically born into that life even if your parents aren’t into it. And since you lived under his roof, you were actually constantly at risk.” You only keep quiet, letting his words sink in.

“Stay with us for a week,” San suggested. “If you still want to leave after that… we’ll let you go.”

~

The next morning, Yunho and Mingi gave you a tour around the mansion while they told you random stories of the missions they’ve gone on. You found yourself enjoying their company. You were quite surprised at the amount of money mafias make; you were so sure that Ateez were billionaires.

The three of you sat on the benches at the mansion’s garden, getting a little sun.

“When did you both join the mafia?” you curiously asked the two giants who were literally a foot taller than you. They had such bright and bubbly personalities that you couldn’t even believe they were in a mafia gang, let alone one of the most powerful gangs out there.

“Yunho and I have been close friends ever since we were thirteen, and we joined Ateez together,” Mingi said. “After my parents were murdered when I was seventeen, Yunho’s parents took me in. But since I witnessed my parents’ murder and saw the murderers’ faces, they came after Yunho’s family and killed his parents while searching for me because I had escaped before they could kill me as well.”

“But we got our sweet revenge after we joined Ateez,” Yunho added with a smirk. “Hongjoong came up to us during my parents’ funeral and promised to kill the murderers if we joined his gang. He kept his word and the murderers were, in fact, another mafia gang.”

“Do you ever regret joining the gang?” you questioned, curious because they joined only to take revenge.

“Nope.”

“Never.”

“Ateez is our family now,” Yunho stated with a smile. “Hongjoong created this family and we’re all genuinely happy even if this isn’t a normal lifestyle. We’re almost always at some risk, but we got each other’s backs.” Mingi nodded his head in agreement.

“Wow,” was all you could say. The boys only laughed at that.

“It’s a little overwhelming, I know,” Mingi chuckled.

“Let’s go back inside,” Yunho suggested.  “It’s cold out here, you know?” You and Mingi nodded before making your way inside the mansion.

As soon as you entered the mansion, you were hit with the scent of something absolutely amazing. Mingi inhaled deeply, a wide smile immediately appearing on his face.

“Wooyoung is cooking!” Mingi squealed before running to sit on the couch in the living room. You sat beside him, and Yunho sat on the opposite couch.

“He always does, dumbass,” Yeosang muttered from the kitchen while helping Wooyoung. Even Jongho was there, cutting some vegetables.

Mingi pouted a little. “Seonghwa hyung cooks sometimes too, okay! Besides, I’m really hungry.”

“Food will be ready in another hour,” Wooyoung informed while stirring some stew. “Why don’t you eat an apple for now, Mingi?”

“Jongho,” Mingi called out.

You watched Jongho wash two apples before he made his way to the living room where you, Mingi, and Yunho were seated. He stood in front of Yunho and effortlessly split one of the apples in half, handing one half of it to Yunho and putting the other half in between his teeth, leaving you dumbfounded. He split the other apple and handed one half to you and the other half to Mingi.

You glanced at Mingi and Yunho who didn’t even seem fazed by Jongho’s actions.

“Did I just witness the baby of the family break two apples in halves with his bare hands?” Jongho smiles brightly at your words.

“He may be the baby, but he’s scary as fuck,” Mingi mumbled from beside you, making you raise an eyebrow while you ate your piece of apple; you found Jongho absolutely adorable. You were about to say something, but Hongjoong came into the living room, his eyes on you.

“Can we talk?” he asked, making eye contact for barely three seconds before he turned around and walked away. You bit your lip nervously, unsure of what to do after the way he lashed out on you last night.

“Go on,” Jongho said. “He won’t yell at you or anything, I’m sure of it.” You only nod before getting up and following Hongjoong.

You followed Hongjoong to the large library of the mansion. You didn’t get to see the inside of the library when Mingi and Yunho showed you around. They said you would spend a lot of time in there anyway.

When you entered the library, your jaw dropped. The large bookshelves were floor to ceiling, and only one of the walls had a window that was floor to ceiling as well. You loved reading, so you were quite astonished at the amount of books they had in here. You could see big, thick books on one of the shelves and you just knew that they were definitely medical books. There were also large couches to lounge on while you read. It even had a fridge and a coffee maker.

Hongjoong sat down on one of the couches placed at the end. You stood there awkwardly, not uttering a word. He patted the free space beside him, signaling you to sit down.

You hesitantly move to sit down beside him, looking down at your hands and fiddling with your fingers while you waited for him to talk about whatever he wanted to talk about. Somehow, you felt quite nervous. Was he going to yell at you for causing a huge problem for his gang? Or was he going to kill you for that? If any of the two are going to happen, you were hoping for the former; you really did not want to die in a mafia’s mansion… although, it wasn’t that bad of a place to die in.

You heard him inhale and exhale deeply. “I’m sorry, Kiah.”

You stopped playing with your fingers and looked up at him, wondering if you heard him clearly. “What…?”

“I’m sorry,” he repeated, running a hand through his hair. “For lashing out on you like that without knowing what exactly happened.” You were not expecting that at all, considering Hongjoong had quite the temper.

Your eyebrows furrowed in slight confusion. “Shouldn’t you apologize to San and Yunho instead?”

“I already apologized to them,” he remarked. “I shouldn’t have yelled at you when you were in such a state.”

“No, it’s okay, I understand why you did that,” you mumbled, looking away. It was true, you really did understand. “I put your gang at risk.”

He nodded. “Yes, you did. But I’m glad San and Yunho saved you before…” he gulped, “before anything worse could happen.“

"Why?” you murmured. You really thought that he hated you after whatever happened.

Hongjoong leaned back against the couch, head titled back, staring at the ceiling.  “Because I had to witness someone I loved and cherished get raped in front of my eyes,” he said in a soft voice. "She was my sister… she didn’t survive. They raped and then killed her right in front of my eyes… four months ago."  A soft gasp escaped from you; your heart felt like it just got shattered. Tears spilled from your eyes as you choked back a sob.

"I’m so sorry,” you whispered to him, pulling him into a comforting hug that he immediately melted into. “I’m really sorry.”

Hongjoong couldn’t control his own tears. He broke down as soon as he saw your tears, unable to control himself any longer. As the leader of a powerful mafia gang, he always tried to stay strong in front of his gang members, never showing how broken he felt at times even though he knew that they knew how he felt. He just didn’t want to show any signs of weakness when he has people to lead.

But right now, Hongjoong needed this. He really just wanted and needed someone to hold him while he cried his heart out.

He sniffled. “I know you hate this life, but I want you to stay with us… with me,” he whispered the last part but you heard him.

“Please, let me protect you,” he continued. “I will never forgive myself if anything happens to you. Please, stay here.”

His words caused your heartbeat to speed up, butterflies fluttering about in your stomach. You pulled away from the embrace, reaching out to wipe his tears. “Okay, I’ll stay.”

He smiled a little, lightly placing his lips onto your head, making your heart go crazy. “Thank you, Kiah.”

~

The next day during breakfast, you found two unfamiliar faces seated at the dining table with the rest of the boys and Jiwoo.

“Good morning,” you greeted before you took the free seat beside Hongjoong. He gave you a smile that you couldn’t help but return.

“Good morning!” A few of them said while the others just smiled at you. The dining table was filled with waffles, bacon, and cut fruits.

“Ah, so she’s the little trouble!” one of the two girls with short hair said.

You chuckled. “The one and only,” you replied, making her laugh.

“I like her already,” she remarked with a smirk. “I believe we’re the last of the members who you haven’t met. I’m Aeji and she’s Yeoreum.” So these were Seonghwa’s and Mingi’s girls respectively.

“Sorry to interrupt your introduction session, ladies,” Wooyoung said. “But could you please pass the chocolate syrup? My waffles are getting cold, you know?"

Aeji snorted before passing the bottle of chocolate syrup to Wooyoung whose face lit up immediately at the sight of it.

Hongjoong put two chocolate chip waffles on your plate. "Eat well, hmm?” he said and you nodded before talking a bite of the waffle.

Your eyes widened at the taste; these were definitely the best waffles you have ever eaten in your twenty two years (and counting) of existence.

“She loves them,” Aeji said to Seonghwa who gave you a happy smile while you ate.

“I’m glad,” Seonghwa stated. He always felt good whenever someone enjoyed his food

“Everyone loves whatever you make anyway,” Mingi mumbled while stuffing his face.

“So true,” Yunho agreed. “If we didn’t have Wooyoung and Seonghwa hyung, we would’ve pretty much survived on take out.”

You couldn’t even believe how these people were in the mafia. They just seemed so normal. At least in this very moment, they did.

All eleven of them made you feel so welcomed. Even Hongjoong was being so nice to you. When you told them that you decided on staying with them, everyone was ecstatic. You were quite surprised that they trusted you so easily; you had seen a couple of mafia movies before, and usually, the hostage isn’t trusted at all. People in the mafia are portrayed as cold-hearted monsters, but these people in front of you seemed far from it.

After breakfast, you headed to the library of the mansion to check out which books they had. You were surprised to find so many fictions and comics. You pulled a book off of one of the shelves, reading the blurb on the cover at the back.

“Found something interesting?” you heard Hongjoong say from behind you, scaring you. You took a step back as reflex, your back pressed against the bookshelf. You had no idea when he entered the library.

“Fuck, you scared me!”

Hongjoong chuckled before his eyes fell to the book you were holding. “Mastering her senses,” he read the title of the novel aloud . The way he said those three words made you suck in a breath; it sounded so hot. His eyes stared into yours while a smirk formed on his handsome face.

You involuntarily bit your lip and it didn’t go unnoticed by him. “Have you read this book?” you questioned, looking up at him with innocent eyes despite holding a book that was erotic.

Hongjoong took a small step towards your body that was still pressed against the bookshelf. “Mhmm, I have read it,” he answered, his tongue darting out to wet his plump lips. “I like erotic romance novels,” he remarked, his gaze falling to your lips for a second. His phone started ringing and he takes it out from his pocket. “You should read it,” he said before walking away to answer the call.

You closed your eyes and took a deep breath before shakily exhaling. “Fuck,” you whined, exasperated due to the dull ache you felt down there. Kim Hongjoong really just made you get aroused. You wondered if he did it on purpose or if you were just feeling that way because it has been pretty long since you got some action. You were guessing it was both.

~

Sometime before twilight, you decided to take a walk around the mansion, exploring the area more. There was a small building at the back that wasn’t attached to the mansion; it was just a plain white block with a door and no windows. Mingi and Yunho didn’t tell you what the building was used for when they gave you a tour around the mansion. You were quite curious to know about it now as you stared at the large steel doors that required a passcode to open.

The door of the building suddenly opened, revealing Wooyoung and Hongjoong who were having a conversation. They stopped talking when they noticed you standing a few feet away from the entrance.

“Oh? Kiah? What are you doing here?” Wooyoung asked, a little surprised to see you here of all places.

“I was taking a walk,” you answered. “What is this building? Mingi and Yunho didn’t tell me anything about it.”

“Ah, they probably didn’t want to scare you off,” Hongjoong replied.

“Oh…” you murmured, obviously understanding that it had some mafia-related stuff inside.

"By the way,” Wooyoung starts, making you look at him. “Uh, I don’t know how else to put this, but you really need to learn how to use a gun, Kiah.”

Your eyes widened. “A gun? Why?”

“To protect yourself, just in case,” he answered. “Everyone saw your face at the auction and they all will assume that you’re a sex slave now. If any of them find you roaming around freely, even if you’re with any of us, they might abduct you.” Wooyoung’s words made a chill run down your spine, but you acted like as if you were fine. Honestly, you were terrified, and they both could see that.

“Okay,” you agreed without a second thought.

“I’ll teach her,” Hongjoong said, earning a nod from Wooyoung. He looked at you, giving you a small smile. “Do you want to start now?”

“Sure,” you answered and he took your hand in his, pulling you inside the white building. You were surprised to find that there was absolutely nothing inside except a few bicycles. Hongjoong pauses at another set of doors before entering the passcode, revealing a set of stairs. He pulled you along with him, walking past a couple of doors, and you felt like this place was familiar.

“Haven’t I been here?” you questioned, eyebrows furrowing in slight confusion as you tried to recall when you’ve been here.

“Yes, the interrogation room is here,” Hongjoong explained, “This entire area is connected to the mansion.”

“What do you use this area for?” you blurted out.

“Various things,” he simply answered before stopping in front of a door and entering a passcode again; they had a lot of security here. Once you entered the room, you realized that it was a large shooting range. Your eyes widened at the sight of various guns adorning one of the walls. You couldn’t even imagine how much money was spent on it.

Hongjoong took a pair of headphones and yellow tinted glasses before making you wear them. He handed you a small, thin silver gun after loading it with a few bullets. “Safety’s off, be careful,” he warned and you nodded, holding the gun like as if it was very delicate.

“Well, using a gun is very simple,” Hongjoong starts, “It’s exactly how they show it in movies, aim and pull the trigger. Your aim will always be the most important thing when it comes to shooting, and it’s best to shoot the heart.”

Hongjoong demonstrates how to shoot, and the bullet perfectly hit the dummy target’s heart. “See? It’s that simple. You can try it now.”

You put both your hands on the grip of the gun, tilting your head slightly to check if your aim was at the dummy target’s heart. You were shaking a little, but you tried your best to ignore it.

"Pull the trigger when you’re ready.”

And so you did.

However, the gun recoiled, making you shriek as you fell backwards… right into Hongjoong’s arms.

“Oops, I forgot to mention about the knockback,” he chuckled against your head before helping you stand up straight. He looked at the dummy target that you shot. “Mhmm, not bad for a beginner. You shot him in the liver, princess.” Your heart raced at the name he called you.

Hongjoong put an arm around your waist, pulling your body against his while he raised your arm a little, focusing on the target. “Shoot,” he whispered, and you pulled the trigger again. “See? Bullet to the heart. We’re going to practice everyday, yeah? That’s how you’ll become better at it.”

“Where have you brought me?” you questioned, looking up at your uncle in pure detestation when he pushed you into a dark room and took off your blindfold.

“Change into that dress quickly,” he replied, ignoring your question, pointing to a red dress lying on a chair. “It’s time for me to make some good money.” He smirked, giving you a look before leaving you alone in the dimly lit room.

You don’t know why your uncle had brought you here. Your father recently went missing and now you were certain your uncle was behind it.

You rarely saw your father since you lived with your uncle and his family. Your mother passed away when you were a newborn and you have no siblings.

You glanced at the red dress your uncle told you to wear. It was quite short and had a deep V-neck. You sighed as you quickly wore the dress, looking into the dirty and damaged full-length mirror to see how it looked on you.

A woman dressed in a similar dress came inside the room. “I’m getting sold too,” she said softly, making your eyebrows furrow in confusion.

“Sold? What do you mean?”

Before she could reply, two built men came into the room and grabbed you by the arms, forcefully dragging you out.

“Where are you taking me?!” you yelled, struggling to get your arms out of their strong grasp.

“Shut the fuck up if you don’t want a bullet in your head,” one the men said nonchalantly.

You could hear the familiar voice of your uncle and you assumed he was talking through a mic. You were thrown onto a stage, bright lights shining on you that blinded your vision.

Once your eyes adjusted to the light, you could see about a hundred people in the room, staring at you from head to toe.

“So who would like to buy this beauty?” your uncle yelled. All the men and even some of the women started yelling while raising their hands. You shivered, realizing that you were in some sort of human trafficking auction. Your eyes immediately teared up. How cruel could your uncle be? How cruel could all these people here be, selling humans like that?

You looked around, checking to see if there was any way to escape, but there were way too many guards, so you decided to go with the flow for now.

“We’re starting from 50 million won,” your uncle stated after the crowd calmed down.

You saw someone in the crowd raise a sign with their name and a number on it. “50 million!”

“70 million!”

“140 million!”

“250 million!”

“400 million!” a man yelled, causing everyone to keep quiet.

“400 million… going once, going—”

“500 million!” another man yelled. You could hear whispers all around you. You couldn’t even believe how rich these people were, all their money obviously obtained through illegal means.

“500 million… Going once… going twice… sold!” your uncle said cheerfully and started clapping. “Congratulations, Mr. Byun! She’s all yours!"

-

Two of Mr. Byun’s men took you away and made you sit in a black car while their boss made his payment. They were really handsome and dressed in suits. You were actually terrified, but you tried to act normal.

You saw a man with long hair and thick bushy eyebrows approach the car. He was wearing spectacles and had a thick moustache. He got into the car, looking at you as he sat beside you. You noticed that he had a gun in his pocket, making you wonder what exactly he does for a living, albeit you had a fair idea already.

"Start driving, Mingi,” he said in a mellifluous voice to the red-haired man who was sitting in the driver’s seat. Mingi nodded and started driving immediately while you kept quiet and looked outside the window, pondering about how you could escape.

“Take that shit off, hyung. It looks hideous on you,” the other guy with blue hair said, grabbing your attention.

Mr. Byun took off his spectacles, fake moustache and eyebrows, and the wig. You didn’t even realize that he was wearing a disguise before.

Your eyes widened when you saw him. His features were sharp and absolutely perfect. He looked like he was going to shoot for some fashion magazine. He seemed to be around your age; so did the other two guys.

You didn’t realize that you were gawking at him until Mingi chuckled. “Someone is shocked."

You blushed in embarrassment, instantly looking away.  You cleared your throat. "I was just wondering why Mr. Byun was wearing a disguise.”

“Oh Byun is just a fake name he used,” Mingi said. “His name is actually Hongjoong.”

And that’s when it hit you.

“Hongjoong? As in, Kim Hongjoong of Ateez?” you blurted out, making all the three men’s eyes widen.

Hongjoong quickly reached under the car seat, pulling out handcuffs before swiftly handcuffing you. He took his tie off and used it as a blindfold for you.

-

Your hands were handcuffed to the armrest of a chair. You really hoped these guys weren’t Ateez. But after seeing the other five men once they removed your blindfold, you knew it was really them: the eight most feared men in the crime world in the country.

You were so fucked; especially since you were in an interrogation room with an unconscious bleeding man in the corner.

“How do you know me? How do know Ateez?” Hongjoong asked coldly, a small hint of panic in his eyes. You regretted opening your mouth before.

You averted your gaze from the bleeding man. “I… overheard my uncle talk about you,” you answered honestly.

“Hongjoong, let San take care of this,” one of the taller guys with black curly hair said.

“No, Seonghwa, I’ve got this,” Hongjoong said, his eyes not leaving you.

Seonghwa only rolled his eyes. “San.”

Another guy with pink hair nodded before approaching you. Hongjoong sighed in frustration before moving to the side, letting San replace him. You could easily tell that Hongjoong had a short temper.

“I’m going to ask you a few questions so please cooperate,” San said with a sweet smile, letting his dimples show. You would’ve melted for that smile if you didn’t know that he was extremely dangerous. “So tell me, what is your name?”

“Kiah… Moon Kiah,” you replied.

“How old are you?”

“I’m 21.”

“Who is your uncle who told you about us?”

You took a deep breath, already exhausting from the questioning. “Moon Younghyun.” All the eight men look surprised.

“Your uncle sold you, his own niece, at a human auction?” Seonghwa asked with a frown and you nodded in response.

“That bastard,” Mingi growled, surprising you. Why was he pissed about that?

“What did your uncle tell you about us, Kiah?” San questioned.

You bit your lip nervously. “I can’t tell you.”

“Why not?” San asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Cause you’ll shoot me or rape me to death due to how offensive it is,” you mumbled. “And honestly, I’d rather not die that way.” The boys were shocked at your sudden boldness, not expecting you to say that at all. Half of them looked offended.

“Excuse me, woman, we’re not rapists,” the guy with purple hair said, clearly offended.

You raised an eyebrow. “That’s not what I heard.” You were wondering where your sudden confidence came from when these men could literally kill you in a fraction of a second.

“Well, then what did you hear?” San asked. “Tell us and we’ll honestly tell you what’s true and what’s not.” You contemplated that; you had nothing to lose anyway if they choose to kill you.

“I heard that Ateez is a mafia gang engaged in mostly human trafficking, drug deals, raping and murdering innocent people.”

The guy with light brown hair, who looked like a Greek God, cleared his throat. “Out of everything you said, only the drug deals were true.”

You snorted. “And why would I believe you?”

“Well, why would you believe your uncle who just sold you?” he retorted.

“But you guys fucking bought me at a human auction!”

“Would you rather be bought by someone else who would actually treat you like a fucking sex slave?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. You kept quiet at that. “Believe me, Kiah, that’s what the people there were for. They were all looking for sex slaves.”

“Yeosang’s right,” San stated. “You should be grateful that we saved your life.”

“What were you guys doing there then?” you questioned. “If you claim that you don’t do all that, then why were you there in the first place?”

“Your uncle is our enemy. We had to see what he was up to,” Yunho answered.

“Then why did you buy me?”

“You ask way too many questions,” Hongjoong snapped in an annoyed tone, trying not to lose his temper completely.

“Joong, chill,” Seonghwa said, making Hongjoong roll his eyes.

Mingi moved to stand in front of you. “I was the one who begged Hongjoong to adopt you,” he said with a smile.

“Terrible decision,” Hongjoong muttered under his breath.

You snorted. “Adopt?”

Mingi shrugged. “I don’t like the word ‘bought’ so we’re just going to say that.”

You smiled a little at his words. “All right, Mingi, care to explain why you… adopted me?”

Mingi grinned. “Well, I’ve seen you a couple of times near your university’s hospital,” he stated, making the guys look at him in surprise; they didn’t know Mingi knew your face before. “And besides, you’re beautiful. It would be such a waste if you were sold as a sex slave when you’re so talented.” Hongjoong gives Mingi a look that didn’t go unnoticed by you.

You chuckled. “What makes you think I’m talented?”

“I’ve done my research,” he said. “You’re the only nursing student intern who is allowed to watch surgeries and help in minor ones.”

“No wonder you wanted to adopt her,” Yunho remarked.

You heard a groan behind you, coming from the bleeding man who just gained consciousness. You felt really bad for him.

“Don’t worry about him,” Yeosang said, noticing the concern in your eyes. “He deserved it.”

“Why?” you murmured. “What did he do?”

“You wouldn’t want to know,” Seonghwa laughed before turning to one of the guys. “Remove the handcuffs, Jongho.”

Jongho nodded and unlocked the handcuffs around your wrists with a key. You stretched your arms out in front of you, feeling a little free now.

“All right, I can go home…” you trailed off, realizing that you didn’t have a home anymore. Your uncle would definitely sell you again if you went back there. Looks like you would have to crash at a friend’s place.

“I’m afraid we can’t let you go,” Hongjoong stated.

Your eyes widened. “You’re keeping me hostage?!”

“You know too much about us,” San said with a small smile. “We’re sorry.”

You scoffed, getting up from the chair. “I refuse to be a fucking prisoner here in your dungeon!”

“Holy fuck, you’re so tiny!” Yunho said in awe, stepping forward to tower over you. “I think I’m a foot taller than you! How cute!” he squealed. Was this guy really in the Mafia?

Before you could respond, Yunho lifted you up like a baby. “I’m gonna show you the house.”

He carried you out of the interrogation room and up a flight of stairs until you reached a living room that could easily fit more than three hundred people. Your eyes widened at the sight of it; surely this was a joke, right?

You were in a luxurious mansion.

You glanced around in awe, noticing how one side of the living room had floor to ceiling windows, complemented with maroon and gold curtains. There was a large open-kitchen right next to the living room, and a wooden staircase on the other side where pictures adorned the wall. You wondered how many rooms were in this mansion and what the exterior looked like.

Yunho set you down on your feet. “You’re free to move around the house, Kiah. We aren’t going to lock you up,” he said, chuckling at your stunned reaction.

“How many rooms does this place have?” you questioned while walking around the living room.

Wooyoung plopped himself on one of the sofas. “There’s nine bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and six other rooms for different purposes.”

“The guest room is still under renovation, so you will be sleeping in Hongjoong’s room for the time being,” Mingi informed.

“What?!” You and Hongjoong yelled in unison.

“Not the bad temper guy of all people!” you whined, making all the guys except Hongjoong laugh. “Can’t I sleep in your room instead?”

“You could,” Mingi laughed. “But then my girlfriend would have my head.”

“There’s a woman in this house? Thank fucking goodness!” you sighed in relief.

Jongho chuckled. “There’s three, actually. Well, now four.”

“Where are they?” you questioned.

“Seonghwa’s girl is on a mission so you’ll see her next week,” San replied. “I don’t know where Mingi’s girl is, and my girl is—”

“Hi!” you heard someone yell before running and pulling you into a tight hug. She pulled away and gave you a bright smile; you liked her already. “I’m Jiwoo!”

San chuckled at his girlfriend’s actions before moving to wrap his arms around her waist. He kissed her forehead, making her smile. They were so cute! “This is my girlfriend, Jiwoo. Babe, this is Kiah.”

“San and Jiwoo are the hyper couple here,” Yunho stated. “They’re both just so full of energy.”

“We’re going to be great friends, I’m sure of it!” Jiwoo said, making you smile.

Maybe living here wasn’t going to be so bad after all.

-

Hongjoong’s bedroom was huge. The walls were a penny brown and most of the decor was white and beige. There was a large TV right in front of the king sized bed. There was also a small flight of stairs leading down to a Jacuzzi that could fit six people in it.

You realized that you didn’t have any clothes except for the red dress you were wearing right now. You didn’t even have a phone anymore.

You heard footsteps behind you, making you turn to the source. A shirtless Hongjoong walked past you to the wardrobe, stripping until he was left only in his Calvin Klein hip briefs. You couldn’t help but stare as he picked out some clothes to sleep in. You absentmindedly bit your lip when he wore his grey sweatpants and a black tank top. You quietly left the bathroom after washing your face, hoping he didn’t notice you staring.

After several seconds, Hongjoong came into the bedroom, stretching his hands above his head. “You’re gonna sleep in that?” he asked.

You rolled your eyes. “I don’t have anything else to sleep in.”

Hongjoong sighed before heading back to the wardrobe, coming back with a plain white t-shirt. He tossed it to you and you went to the bathroom to change. His t-shirt smelled so pleasant, you couldn’t stop inhaling the scent.

When you went back to the bedroom, Hongjoong was in deep thought. “You know,” he started, looking at you from head to toe, secretly loving the way his t-shirt looked on your small form. “I just realized that you didn’t really protest to live here.”

You sat on his springy bed. “Well, I don’t have anywhere else to go.”

He scoffed. “Or maybe you just want to live here.”

“I used to live with my uncle. If I had my own place, I wouldn’t even spend a second here,” you deadpanned.

“So you’ve never worked?” he asked. “Not even a part time job?”

“Do you think medical students have time for that?” you retorted.

“Whatever,” he mumbled. “Looks like you’ll get along with Yeosang and Seonghwa.”

“What makes you think that?”

“They’re Ateez’s doctors,"  he stated. "Well, Yeosang mainly works as our hacker, but he’s almost as skilled as Seonghwa.

There was some silence for a while until you spoke, "Are we even in Seoul right now?”

“We’re at the outskirts,” Hongjoong answered. “Gwanak-san, to be precise.”

“Ah, near my university!” you said happily. “Actually, you know what?”

“What?”

“I can stay with a friend,” you said. “He has an apartment right beside my university.”

Hongjoong chuckled, but he clearly wasn’t amused at all. “I’m afraid that’s not possible, love.” Your heart skipped a beat at the way he said 'love’ but you ignored it.

You frowned. “Why not?”

“Well, you already know too much about us,” he stated. “Besides, you’ve already entered the Mafia world. There’s no going back.”

Your blood boiled. “I don’t give a fuck, Hongjoong. I didn’t ask you to buy me and pull me into your stupid Mafia world!” your voice was rising.

Hongjoong got annoyed at the way you raised your voice at him. “For your information, you got pulled into this world the second your uncle got involved in it! You lived with someone who’s in the fucking Mafia!”

“At least my life was normal!” you retorted.

“You know what? Fine!” Hongjoong raised his voice, scaring you a little. “I’ll personally drop you at your fucking uncle’s house tomorrow, okay?!”

“You don’t get to decide that and I’m not going back to that monster!”

“Then shut the fuck up and appreciate the shelter you’ve been given here goddammit!” Hongjoong runs a hand through his hair in frustration. You just keep quiet, looking away while your eyes filled with tears.

“Why the fuck did I even agree to buy a brat like you?” he murmured, but you heard him.

“Fuck yourself,” you whispered.

In a flash, you were on your back, Hongjoong hovering above you.

“Don’t you dare talk to me like that! You make me want to punish you so fucking bad,” Hongjoong growled. Your heart was racing at how close he was.

“Get the fuck off me,” you said, avoiding eye contact.

He grabbed your chin, making you look at him. “You piss me off so much, Moon Kiah.”

You controlled the urge to roll your eyes. “Well, then tame your damn temper, Kim Hongjoong.”

“Tame your attitude first, love,” he chuckled bitterly before getting off of you. He lied on his back, looking up at the ceiling of his room. He clapped twice and the lights turn off, making the room pitch-black.

You bit your lip, wondering what to do. You couldn’t stay here; you didn’t even want to. You weren’t meant for the Mafia world— you decided to get into the medical field so that you could save lives, not take them away.

You wanted to run away right now, even though it was half past midnight. But you needed a plan since you don’t exactly know where you are were.

“I just realized,” Hongjoong starts, smirking in the dark. “You haven’t protested to sleeping on the same bed as me.”

You snorted. “Why would I?”

“That’s what girls usually do, don’t they? And the guy will offer to take the couch instead of her.”

“Well, I’m not like other girls,” you stated. “I’d rather sleep on a bed than a couch outside, and I’m sure you’d prefer that as well. Besides, this is a king-sized bed. There’s plenty of room for both of us. In fact, there’s extra space cause you’re tiny.”

Hongjoong snorted. “Excuse me, I’m not tiny.”

“You are.”

“I’m more than half a foot taller than you, Kiah.”

You shrugged. “Doesn’t matter, tiny boy. You’re still tinier than the other seven boys.”

“But I lead them,” Hongjoong said proudly with a smirk that you obviously couldn’t see.

“What do you mean?” you questioned without thinking.

“Think, love,” he answered.

You gave it a thought before your eyes widened in realization. “You’re a… Mafia King.”

He chuckled. “We actually use the term 'boss’ but I like that,” he said, pulling the blanket over your bodies.

“So the other seven boys follow your orders,” it wasn’t a question. You actually thought Seonghwa was the boss.

“Yup.”

“I pity them,” you murmured, but he heard you.

He scoffed. “You will be following my orders too,” he said. “That’s if we decide to make you one of us.”

“Yeah… no, that’s never gonna happen,” you remarked. “I want to save lives, not take them away.”

“Actually, you would want to take these lives away if you knew what these people do,” he said, lying on his side to face you. “Ateez doesn’t kill innocent people.” You felt a little relieved at that; at least you knew you wouldn’t die by a gunshot or something.

“And what do those people do that makes you want to kill them?” you questioned, turning onto your side as well so that you were facing him.

He snorted. “Do you really want to know?”

“I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t.”

“We usually kill rapists and human traffickers. These people mostly target women and children. They kidnap children, rape them, and then sell their organs within the country or internationally. The women are usually sold as sex slaves or kept in prostitution centers. Some mafia gangs own strip clubs where their strippers get assaulted or raped by customers and they do nothing about it.”

“Your uncle used to run a fake orphanage,” Hongjoong continues. “I came across that place when I was fifteen years old and found out that they were keeping those kids there to sell their organs. I told my parents about it and we bombed that place after rescuing those children, and put them in an actual proper orphanage. Two boys who were just a year younger than me had escaped from the orphanage. They ran after my parents just to thank them for saving their lives. My parents saw a lot of potential in the two boys and decided to take them in. That’s how Yeosang and Wooyoung became a part of my family.”

The story really broke your heart; you couldn’t even imagine what those two had to go through when they were just in their early teens. You were curious about the other six boys’ stories too. You wanted to ask Hongjoong about it, but now didn’t seem like the right time.

-

You don’t really know how and when you fell asleep after hearing all those disturbing things, but somehow you did.

And when you woke up, you were in Hongjoong’s arms.

You tried to escape from him, but his hold around you was too strong. You gave up on trying and chose to admire his beautiful face instead.

You had to admit, Hongjoong was extremely handsome. You’ve never seen anyone look this good while they’re asleep. He looked so soft and angelic, you found it hard to believe that he was in the mafia, let alone a mafia boss.

You heard a knock on the bedroom door before the door opened, revealing San and Jiwoo.

“Hi!” Jiwoo greeted. “Good morning!” You wondered how she had so much energy in the morning.

“I see you’ve slept well,” San commented with a smirk while gesturing at Hongjoong’s arms around you.

You blushed. “Help me.” San easily lifted Hongjoong’s arm off of you.

“He sleeps like he’s in coma,” San said, making you chuckle while you stretched your arms.

“We’re going shopping today,” Jiwoo said to you. “You need clothes.”

“I don’t have any money, Jiwoo,” you said.

She snorted. “You don’t have to worry about that, we’re paying for you.”

You opened your mouth to protest, but San interrupted you. “We don’t have any plans of letting you go, Kiah. Think of it as a gift for joining us.” You just nodded in response even though you wanted to disagree. You weren’t going to join a mafia gang; that was the last thing you wanted to do.

You had to escape.

-

You had just come back from shopping with Jiwoo, exhausted from walking around the mall; you were pretty sure that she made you spend more than ten million won.

“So Kiah,” Yeosang starts, sitting on the sofa beside Mingi and Seonghwa. “You’re a medical student, right?”

“Yup, majoring in nursing,” you nodded. “Hongjoong told me that you and Seonghwa are the doctors of the gang.”

“What were you planning to do after graduation?” Seonghwa asked. You didn’t miss how he used 'were’ instead of 'are.’

You gently cleared your throat. “Well, I want to become a surgical nurse for the cardiac department.”

“Ah, that’s great!” he said with a smile. “I wanted to get into Neuro.”

“Why didn’t you?” you asked while absentmindedly playing with a strand of your hair.

“Once you join the mafia, you have to sacrifice having a normal job,” Yeosang replied nonchalantly. You couldn’t tell if he was sad about it.

“I wanted to ask you all something,” you murmured, but the three of them heard you clearly.

“You can ask us anything you want, Kiah,” Mingi encouraged. “We’ll answer everything.”

“Well, if you’re gonna keep me here…” you hesitated for a second. “Um, does that mean that I can’t work?” Yeosang and Seonghwa exchanged a glance that didn’t go unnoticed by you.

“You’ll have to ask Hongjoong about that, but mostly yes. You won’t be able to work,” Seonghwa said. “It’s too dangerous. You can only work for us.” You only nodded, unhappy with the words you heard.

“Can I at least attend my own graduation?” you were mentally begging they would agree.

“When is it?” Yeosang asked.

“It’s on the day after tomorrow.”

“Of course you can,” Hongjoong said, entering the living room and plopping down on one of the sofas.

“Really?!” you squealed in excitement.

“I was being sarcastic,” he stated, making your smile immediately falter.

“I didn’t study my ass off for nothing, Hongjoong,” you said, crossing your arms over your chest.

He scoffed. “Do you think I care?”

“Well, I do.” You were starting to get angry. Yunho entered the living room, not saying anything due to the tense atmosphere.

“You’ll put us and people you know at risk,” Hongjoong shrugged.

“That’s your problem,” you remarked, pissing him off. “I didn’t ask you to buy me, Hongjoong.”

“Adopt,” Mingi mumbled, but you ignored him.

You and Hongjoong were locked in a glaring contest. Yunho cleared his throat after a while, catching Hongjoong’s and your attention. “Hyung, you disguised yourself. No one knows that it was you who bought her.”

“Adopted,” Mingi murmured, getting ignored again.

Hongjoong gave it a thought. “Fine,” he agreed. “But we all will attend it too, whether you like it or not.”

“Deal.”

You were seated in your respective seat, desperately waiting for the graduation ceremony to get over even though one of Seoul’s top doctors was invited to talk. All eight boys and Jiwoo were attending your graduation. You wished your father was here to watch you graduate.

Once the ceremony was finally over and all the students collected their diplomas, you all gathered around to throw your dark blue caps in the air.

“I can’t believe we successfully survived four entire years,” Dongyoon remarked.

“Time to try to survive med school now,” Yonghwa said and Chanhee nodded in agreement; they were on the road to becoming doctors. “But for now, let’s get fucking wasted!”

-

You were at one of Seoul’s best nightclubs in Gangnam; you didn’t tell anyone in Ateez that you’d leave with your university friends. This was your way of running away. You were going to stay with Chanhee until you found a place.

Being a Tuesday night, the club wasn’t crowded. Most of the people here were definitely high school or university students. After all, it was graduation week in Korea.

You drank and danced with your friends until you were drunk as fuck and your feet hurt. You felt so relaxed, just paying attention to the blasting music while the alcohol in your system gave you some energy.

“Oh? Who do we have here?” you heard a familiar voice say behind you while you took another shot. You had no idea where your friends were.

You turned around and squinted to look at the man. “Moon Bojoon…?”

“Hello, sister,” your cousin chuckled, putting his arms around your drunk form. You hated him with every fiber of your being— he tried to sexually assault you a couple of times. Living under the same roof as him was hell.

“Get your hands off me,” you yelled over the loud music, weakly trying to push him away; he didn’t even move an inch.

His grip around you tightened. “I wonder who father sold you to. How lenient are they to let their sex slave go out to party…? Or did you run away?”

You tried to push him away again. “Fuck off!”

He grabbed you by your arm and pulled you along until he reached the parking lot of the club. He pushed you harshly against his car, making you groan in pain when your head hit the window.

Bojoon moved his face closer to yours. “I’m gonna sell you this time,” he whispered in your ear. “But I’ll have my fun with you first, of course.”

“Get away from me!” you yelled while your vision got blurry. Before you could comprehend what was even happening, you passed out.

ATEEZ Reactions: You being affectionate/horny when drunk.

Seonghwa:

You had just gotten home from a party, and you were really drunk… and horny.

Seonghwa helped you remove your shoes and got you some water which you refused to drink. Instead, you wrapped your arms around his waist, telling him just how much you wanted him.

Seonghwa only smiled while he listened to your slurred words and attempted to try to make you drink some water; he has gone through this many times as he has been dating you for over two years, so he knew exactly what to do.

“I don’t want the damn water, Hwa!” you whined, pulling him close to you by his belt hoops. “I want you to fuck me!”

Seonghwa cupped your cheeks with his hands. “That’s tempting and all, but no. Just cause I’m your boyfriend, doesn’t mean I have the right to take advantage of you,” he tried to make you understand even though you were drunk.

Just as he expected, you finally listened to him after a few minutes, drinking the water he tried to make you drink earlier.

Hongjoong:

You and Hongjoong got into a relationship two months ago. He has never seen you drunk before, so he didn’t know what to expect when you came over to his place, totally drunk, after accidentally booking a cab to his apartment instead of yours.

“Joongie…” you clung onto his arm when he tried to get up from the couch. “Where are you going?”

“I’ll be right back, baby. I’m just getting a snack,” he said, placing a kiss on your forehead.

You pouted. “But I don’t want you to go! You’re sooo warm and sooo comfortable and sooo pretty!”

Hongjoong raised an eyebrow. “You think I’m pretty?” he asked, amused.

You nodded, hugging his arm tighter, pressing your cheek against his shoulder. “You’re the prettiest, Kim Hongjoong.”

He grinned before cupping your cheek, bringing your face to his so that he could kiss you. “You’re the prettiest too, baby.”

Yunho:

Yunho laughed at your poor attempt of trying to seduce him. You pouted, your drunk self realizing that he wasn’t taking you seriously at all.

“Yunho! If you won’t have sex with me, I’ll ask someone else to!” you said, crossing your arms over your chest.

Yunho smirked. “Go ahead,” he said, not expecting you to actually listen to him; you got up from your seat and walked towards a random man at the bar.

Before you could reach the guy, Yunho wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you back.

“All right, I’ll give you what you want, but you have to come home with me now, okay?” You nodded, letting your boyfriend drag you along to his car.

“Close your eyes, love,” he said after he buckled your seatbelt, and you obeyed him. He began playing lullabies in the car, hoping you’d somehow fall asleep like a baby.

To his delight, it worked.

Yeosang:

You pressed yet another kiss to your boyfriend’s cheek, making him smile.

“Babe, I’m not complaining or anything, but this is probably the sixtee—” you pecked Yeosang’s lips. “Now seventeenth kiss you’ve given me.”

“Shh, let me kiss my favorite of all favorite boys,” you said, placing a kiss on his temple.

Yeosang scoffed. “I’m your only favorite boy. You don’t have other favorites.”

“Wooyoung and San won’t agree to that,” you giggled. “But you’re the only boy I’m in love with, Yeosang… the only boy who makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world…”

Yeosang’s heart raced due to your confession and his cheeks turned very pink; you would usually tease him for it, but you weren’t sober enough to notice.

Yeosang would pull you in a sweet kiss, telling you how he was so in love with you too.

San:

You just felt like drinking alone in your apartment, and so you did. When San had called to tell you he would come over tomorrow, he noticed how slurred your words were. “Babe, are you drunk at two in the afternoon?” You giggled in response. San couldn’t let you be drunk and alone, so he came over as fast as he could so that he could take care of you.

“Sannie, do you know how fucking hot you are?” you questioned. “I want you to fuck me right now.” San was caught off guard by your last sentence, and you took that opportunity to straddle his lap, immediately kissing his neck.

San got carried away for a while until he regained his senses. “B-Babe,” he gently pushed you away before you could take his shirt off. “As much as I’d love to fuck you right now, I can’t and won’t.”

You pouted. “Why?”

“You’re drunk, love,” he said in a soft tone. “I will not take advantage of you in this state.”

“Okay, then tomorrow?” you asked innocently.

“Definitely.”

Mingi:

You were at a friend’s party, seated on Mingi’s lap, playing with his hand and placing random kisses on it.

The two of you have liked each other for years, but none of you wanted to make a move as you both were scared of ruining the friendship.

However, you finally made a move on him today after having a little too much to drink, confessing all your hidden feelings.

“Why are you kissing my hand, baby?” he asked, even though he knew your drunk response; he just loved to hear the words you said.

You pulled away with a wide smile. “Cause I love you sooo much!” you stated, words slurred.

Mingi’s heart beat rapidly in his chest; he felt the same way for you, and he wasn’t scared of the friendship getting ruined anymore. He let you kiss and play with his hand as much as you wanted while he thought about how to ask you out.

Wooyoung:

“Why won’t you dick me down?!” you whined, crossing your arms over your chest while you glared at your boyfriend. Wooyoung knew you got quite horny whenever you got drunk, so he knew exactly what to expect from you.

“Because you’re drunk!” Wooyoung mimicked your tone and actions.

You pouted. “I’m not drunk!”

“Okay, which city was I born in?” He always asked you this question whenever you got drunk.

“South Korea!” you named the country as always.

“Wrong answer,” he chuckled. “See, you’re drunk.”

“Wooyoung!” you stomped on the carpeted floor.

“Y/N!” he imitated you before pulling you into his arms. “Babe, I swear I’ll do whatever you want me to do to you,” he said, kissing your head. “But only when you’re sober, hmm?” You don’t know what made you agree, but Wooyoung was glad you did.

Jongho:

Jongho had just picked you up from a nearby bar. You had gone out with your friends and this was your first time properly drinking.

Jongho carried you on his back while he walked to your apartment. Throughout the walk, you were telling him random things he has done for you which you loved.

“You remember when you tied my shoelace on the bus?” you hiccupped. “That was so cute!” Jongho was quite stunned, not expecting you to find the small action cute.

“And when you got me my favorite snacks during my period? I was so touched,” you said with a happy sigh, resting your head on his. “I love you, Jongho. You mean the world to me!” You kissed the back of his head, making him blush.

Jongho was really touched by your words; his heart swelled with happiness by knowing that the small things he does can bring a smile to your face.
