I was sold on Sokka somehow duping Season One Zuko into buying his Absolutely The Best Hunter™ cat (this sales pitch presumably being a distraction while Katara and Aang run away in the background).
And Zuko starting to shoulder-carry this cat EVERYWHERE.
(To Sokka’s eternal frustration, this random cat he pulled yowling from a trashcan is, in fact, an EXCELLENT Avatar hunter.)
Iroh having to put up with his new rival, the Trash Cat, who absolutely looks him in the eye as it bats over his teacup. Again.
