Aurora
The girl picked up her head, taking her mother’s hand and following it’s pull so she ended up leaning against her side. “I’m not usually like that, I don’t know what happened. I can’t believe I fought someone,” Rory rambled. “And I would never ever say that you’re not my real mom.”
“I am your mother, and always will be. I should have been more understanding.” Mal pulled her closer wrapping her arms around her. “I never would have said those things about your father.”
Aurora looked to the ground, “I just wanted to apologize.”
Mal slowly rose from her chair and reached her hand out to her daughter. “Come here little beastie” her voice was calm and not at all angry, only concerned.
Aurora grimaced, her eyes swirling with a dark hatred. “Why should I answer to you? You don’t control me. You’re not even my real mom,” she growled, fixing the end of her bandage down with the safety pin she attached to it earlier that day. “I was pushed, I pushed back. End of story.”
“No, I’m your fairy godmother and your making my job pretty bloody hard to protect you when you go and attack someone who can barely control her powers. So tell me what was so important to risk your life?” Mal raised her voice but kept it at it’s usual deep tone. It bombed troughout the house like some sort of eco location signal. Lashing out from her deep hurt of Aurora’s words.
Aurora made her way to the living room while re-wrapping her hands, trying to cover the blood on them the best she could before Mal saw anything. She started to rip the edge of the bandage with her teeth when she saw her mother, but her stare left Aurora frozen, the tape still in her mouth. Quickly she spat it out, sending an icy glare of her own. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about how you broke the rules and by the looks of your hands more than once. Are you going to tell me why?” her voice held firm, plainly she was hiding some anger behind it that her daughter would even try to play dumb with her. Didn’t she understand that she was her responsibility?
Mal had heard a great many of things that had happened around. Many of which she had no control over but did her best to cover up as much as she could to draw attention away from the school to keep her students safe. But once she had caught ear over her own daughters doing with another one of her students she took a seat in her living room chair waiting for her daughter to return home. Once she did Mal met her with a stare that could hurt to must fragile of hearts. “Aurora come here my little beastie. I believe you have some explaining to do.”
She sat in front of her mother with a big smile, “Trixie and I found the map to the ancient Japanese fairy spring and I wanted to show you cause I thought you’d like it and,” She grinned, “I finished the Christmas tree.”
“Of an ancient Japanese fairy spring, and was this a nicked idea or did you just happen upon it?” she raised an eyebrow at her curious daughter. “So I have seen.”
She peeked her head through her mother’s door with a grin before entering with a big grin. “I have good news for you!” @headmistress-dracarys
“Yes, yes little beastie what tis it?” She found her daughter to show much excitement towards many things, so at this to her it really could be anything from a flower to winning the world.

And I was running far away
——–Would I run off the world someday?
( Nobody knows, nobody knows )
But I kept running for a soft place to fall.
War inside my mind,
behind my eyes,
is coming down
For the thousandth time, I feel too numb to even mind
