As a tribute to impressionist painter Claude Monet, Feng J reimagines the artist’s Jardin de Giverny in an exquisite transformable masterpiece featuring an impressive 19-carat fancy light pink diamond.
Using a variety of gemstones like colours on a palette, high jewellery artist Feng J paints a breathtaking garden with her “floating setting” technique.
The ‘Jardins de Giverny’ necklace is a multi-functional accomplishment. To allow for greater versatility, a section of the necklace can be detached to become a bracelet, while the 19-carat Fancy Light Pink diamond can be converted into an impressive ring, to be worn alone, or as a set with the bracelet.
DESCRIPTION: One cut-cornered rectangular step-cut Fancy Light Pink diamond, 19.00 carats.
Vari-shaped rose-cut sapphires, white sapphires, pink spinels, tanzanites, aquamarines and tsavorites, 83.08 carats total. Diamond beads, round brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, 32.53 carats total.
A section of the necklace is detachable and can be worn as a bracelet.
Accompanied by a ring mount 18K white gold.

The ‘Fountain of Diamonds’ is an usual creation that brings to life the Parisian fountains. The movement of the water is rendered by 95 circular bubbling diamonds beads, all set by hand and culminating at a 22.08-carat, D colour, VS1 clarity, Type IIa diamond.
A jewellery sculpture spiralling around the finger, with diamonds graduating from small to big and from big to small, to replicate the movement of the water.

Less than a year after the discovery of an extraordinary diamond, the Sewelô, Louis Vuitton @louisvuitton announces a second collaboration with Lucara Diamonds Corp. (mining in Karowe, Botswana) and HB Antwerp.
The discovery of the Sethunya rough happened after eight months (last 1 February) in Motswana.
After the routine examinations, the rough resulted being a magnificent gem of 549 carats, of exceptional clarity, colour and light.
The name ‘Sethunya’ means ‘flower’ in the Setswanan language – a subtle reference to Louis Vuitton’s monogram.

‘The Spirit of the Rose’ – the world’s largest Vivid Purple-Pink diamond ever to appear at auction – is set to go for sale at Sotheby’s @sothebysjewels in Geneva on Wednesday.
Mined and cut by @alrosadiamonds, the 14.83- carat Fancy Vivid Purple-Pink Internally Flawless diamond was faceted from the largest pink rough diamond ever mined in Russia. In homage to its Russian origins, the stone takes its name from the acclaimed ballet “Le Spectre de la Rose”, which was premiered by the Ballets Russes company in 1911.
The diamond goes on view at the @mo_geneva tomorrow (until 10 Nov.) In order to comply with the Covid-19 related restrictions, access to the exhibition (7-10 Nov) will be upon appointment only.

The Jewels of Princess Fawzia and the Crown Prince Mohammad Reza Wedding - Part II
The occasion of The Royal Union of the Crown Prince of Iran to the favorite sister of the King of Egypt brought Van Cleef & Arpels the commission of the century. All items ordered are very well documented however some of the actual jewels are missing to this day like the bride’s, Princess Fawzia, wedding diamond tiara and necklace.
The sublime tiara is made of 54 pear shaped diamonds weighing 92 carats and 530 baguette cut diamonds for 72 carats.
The necklace is a superb example of late Art Deco design from the French maison. Undoubtedly some of the most exquisite pieces of jewelry made in the late 1939. However what happened to Princess Fawzia VCA tiara and necklace? Let’s wish they reappear very soon
