naww but forreal …. from start to finish this manga was a 11/10 .. truly a once in a lifetime experience. this manga had so much charm and never underdelivered (except Tsukishima not dying …. fuck that guy he should’ve went to hell together with Tsurumi fuck them both fr). from the very first chapter it has been one hell of a ride and truly an unforgettable adventure. not once was I tired of Golden Kamuy and not once did I regret reading this series. nothing even comes close to this beautiful story.
I am not gonna deny that the last chapter feels a liiiiiiiiiiitle rushed, but after 300+ chapters of a straight up rollercoaster of a ride, I do feel like Sugimoto and co deserved a quiet and peaceful send-off. it was quite fitting for both Asirpa and Sugimoto and I’m so glad they didn’t separate ways. they’re truly family
and Noda ending the series with the eternal Shiraishi gag and the last piece of writing being like “he got the gold out and is the king of a Burmese island now … but that’s a story for another time…..” ….. fucking genius. I love Noda. what a damn masterpiece
11/10 manga. you will never regret reading this series, I promise
