More complex recipes
See table above for changes. And bear with me, this’ll be long.
Just recently I ended up with 40 tomatoes in the fridge, and even with the servings reduced to 4, that’s still a lot of food to cook, and I hate inventory clutter. To combat this, I made the existing recipes more complex by changing or adding ingredients to them (being limited to only three ingredients per recipe, I still wasn’t able to make them as complex as I would’ve liked).
This is the mod for you if your gardener sim keeps wanting to plant crap and the produce is piling up; if you don’t think you can use only Fish to make Fish and Chips; if your sims have too much money and nowhere to spend it; if you hate your sims and want to make their life harder; if you want (slightly) more accurate recipes.
This is an XML mod that alters the RecipeMasterListXML.Use only one mod of this type, and only one flavor! (see below)

Notable changes/quirks:
- More recipes make use of Tomatoes, Garlic and Onion. Imagine eating a salad with only Lettuce, blech!
- Some recipes now make use of Carrots, which could only be used previously in recipes that called for a Vegetable or Ingredient.
- Some recipes that were previously marked as non-vegetarian (Firecracker Shrimp, Spaghetti) did not contain any meat by default. Now, Firecracker Shrimp contains Fish as an ingredient, and Spaghetti contains Steak.
- Stu Surprise is marked as Vegetarian by EA; I didn’t change this, which leads to the amusing situation in which a sim with the Vegetarian trait can eat Stu Surprise prepared with fish and not get the Nauseous moodlet.
- I’ve seen many recipe variants for Spaghetti and Carbonara. Ultimately I decided to assign Steak to Spaghetti and both Steak and Cheese to Goopy Carbonara.
- If you don’t have one of the EPs that introduce an ingredient (e.g. Ghost Chili is introduced in Supernatural), the game will simply ignore that ingredient e.g if the new recipe for Egg Rolls is “Egg, Lettuce, Carrots”, the game will consider “Egg, Lettuce” if you don’t have Pets.
Editing:
if you disagree with any changes, you can just open the RecipeMasterList XML in a text editor and delete/change any lines included between these brackets:
<Ingredient_#>name</Ingredient_#>
example: <Ingredient_2>Carrots</Ingredient_2>- I didn’t include the flavor for Ambrosia as a group meal, but that’s easily done by adding this line:
<Can_Make_Group>x</Can_Make_Group>
to the Ambrosia recipe block.
This mod is incompatiblewith:
- mySome Meals as Desserts mod;
- Twoftmama’sAll Meals Anytime mod;
- anything that edits the RecipeMasterList XML.

Marble-patterned Plates: 12 Variations
Why shouldn’t sims feel fancy when eating their waffles?
I felt the need to switch things up a bit and have also been wanting some marble-patterned plates for awhile, so I finally got down to it (after having the images bookmarked for months).
As usual, these are default replacements for the plates and bowls that sims use when eating and cooking. The textures are 2x as large as the default ones to prevent blurriness, and slightly darker to account for lights/bloom (the screenshot shows how set 02 looks in-game, with bloom disabled). Use only one set at a time!
Recommended stuff: @enable–llamas‘sGriege Stone & Marble Patterns,Red Marble Patterns, and everything else they’ve done. Everything.

Various Cooking Mods
They are compatible patch 1.63 and up, and don’t conflict with each other. Basegame-only required for both, though some recipes in the first mod (like the Crepes) are included in EPs.
ETA: changed the wording from “compatible with” to “includes the changes in”. Phrasing is difficult, apparently.

Some Meals as Desserts
Ever get tired of scrolling through the many recipes to find the one you know is sweet but is inexplicably categorized as a main course? Ever get mildly inconvenienced at EA categorizing pancakes as a non-sweet meal? Then this is the mod for you! Note that this mod doesn’t make them less filling, they’re just now available under the “Serve Dessert” menu.
Meals recategorized as Desserts: Waffles; Peanut Butter and Jelly; Pancakes, Crepes; French Toast; Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich; Fruit Parfait; muffins, cupcakes, pies and cakes made with the children’s toy oven.
▶ If you want any of these restored as regular meals, just open the XML in S3PE and delete the <Dessert>x</Dessert> line in the recipe’s section.
Edits the RecipeMasterList XML.
I have made three flavors, use only one!
Simple: changes the above-mentioned meals to Desserts

4 Servings per Group Meal
Pretty self explanatory. Now group meals aren’t as big, which can help if you feel that sims use up the produce from gardening too slowly (or can help you spend more money on ingredients, by buying them more often, if you feel the game is too easy). The EA default is 8 servings.

Simgebu Stave Church (Graveyard)
Dating back to the 11th century, the Simgebu stave church was designed by a mysterious architect who is rumored to have been buried underneath the church itself, in accordance with local superstition. Although it has needed repairs throughout the years, the church is still used for its intended purpose, as a tourist attraction, and for local kids to test their courage.
Hello again! This time I bring you something I built in my current save, and which you’ve seen in screenshots before: a stave church! It’s not the same church, as that one is built on a randomly placed lot in the mountains of Aurora Skies and not as accessible, but a recreation that’s now a functional graveyard! The graves are only decorative, though, at least for the time being ;)
Play-tested with help from @llamaheart (thank you!), everything is accessible! And if you want to place the lot on its short side to the road, it’s easily editable to allow that.
Warning: if you rotate the lot, the spawners might be duplicated (it’s an EA issue). If you have concerns, turn on buydebug and check for it.

- Lot size: 40x30 (long side set as front of lot)
- Zoned as: Graveyard (zone the lot before placing this down)
- Value: $99,198 furnished
