A decade ago, I took Amtrak’s Coast Starlight to Los Angeles from the Bay Area. Beautiful journey of 12 hours through California. Stayed a few days then hopped on the Sunset Limited for the windy North Palm Springs stop by the “10” Freeway. Amtrak all the way. 03MAY12.
