“We both know that I can do whatever I want to you. I think it’s kind of interesting, really. He never gave a shit about hurting me, his own kid, in fact he even seemed to enjoy it. But the mere suggestion of hurting you?” Cooper Peterson sets his drink on the kitchen table and Leo takes a step back, regarding him. 

“Mr. Peterson,” Leo says, keeping his voice calm and low, trying to shift the chill in the atmosphere.
