Anti-Aging Mocha Mud Mask|Hello Glow

Do you ever take the time to use a mud mask? They’re super fun and relaxing. And when it’s made with cocoa and coffee, it will smell super good too. Cocoa has tons of benefits for your skin, as does coffee - antioxidants, skin tightening properties, etc. Combine those two with bentonite clay which helps withdraw impurities from your skin, and you’ve got a one-two-three punch of goodness for your skin! Just make sure when you purchase your cocoa that it’s the best you can afford and pure.(no added sugar, etc) This would be a fun gift to make too - package the dry ingredients up, add a pretty label and instructions and friends for life will be made!

Rose Petal & Walnut Seed Scrub|A Beautiful Mess

There’s nothing as easy and luxurious as a scrub. And a scrub with skin loving ingredients like rose petal, chamomile and almond oil is even better! You should be able to pick up all of the ingredients from your health food store (or try online to get them cheaper) and you can use them in other recipes like melt and pour soaps or candles. When looking at your oil base, sweet almond, jojoba and hemp are all skin loving. Then relax, scrub and enjoy!

I recently took a break from soap making, but I’m finding more and more awesome projects that are tempting me to pull out my old melt and pour! If you’ve wanted to try your hand at making soap but are scared of lye and the time consuming process, then melt and pour is going to be your jam.
