The warmer weather and approaching summer always makes me dream of going away to live in a cottage, somewhere far away from everything ❤️ It felt good to take the time to finish an illustration with my oc’s again, it’s been too long

It feels wonderful to finally be able to sit down and just d r a w for an entire day. This holiday was sorely needed, I haven’t been able to do this for a month and a half now :’) 

First finished drawing in a month

life has really been kicking my fucking ass lately. I’ve had to very quickly learn how to let go of the notion of not being worth something, unless I produce art every single week, including at least one page for my comic, because uni is just A LOT and I need to put my entire focus into school and what little social life I have. It’s hard to let go of the thought that I’m somehow failing if I don’t work on my comic as much as possible, so in a way I think its been rather healthy for me to be forced to let go of it for a little while hah. 

The very quick (but efficient) reference sketch I did of Eiche Inn; made my job so much easier.

 Vol 2 has 10% less winging it than vol 1 lol

Another whittle redraw

Did a little redraw of an old drawing of Dakon to get back in the groove again

If you’re like me and you don’t like doing character sheets, this is the extremely rough sketch I did of Joslynn and Geva for the comic. It has all the info I need to use as a ref, but still loose enough that I could change a few things around once I started drawing the pages. 

I wish I was one of those artists who love character sheets, because I love looking at them, however the thought of sitting down to draw a reference; kills me. They’re still extremely nice to have and it’s far easier to pull up these sketches than looking through old comic pages (because I usually just make up the design as I draw the characters when needed), so this is the solution I’ve found works for me!

Finished another AU illustration, this time with my oc’s as DnD characters! Next one will probably be something sci-fi inspired
