Yes, its real. The Cali duo has share the leading single off their upcoming album Always Tomorrow; which is set to be released next year.

I’ve had to take a bit of a hiatus from music sharing, as you can obviously tell, but in the interim there has been a lot of can’t miss new music out, including some much heralded returns. In the interest of time, many of these forthcoming shares will be quick and short. The first item that we can’t allow to slide by IHM is the endearing return of Best Coast, that beloved SoCal surf and sun pop/rock duo of Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno whom the indie world adores. For The First Time is the pair’s first taste from a long awaited new album entitled Always Tomorrow, due out in 2020. Best Coast has also announced a full North American tour this winter with support from Mannequin Pussy. They’ll hit the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on February 29th.
