Here’s a photo of me pulling up my pants. Has literally nothing to do with this caption I need some advice again!

Though I am an artist (see my personal account to scope some paintings @g_stamps) I am NOT a photographer and especially not a photo editor. I can level and crop and content aware it up, but I want to learn how to edit raw photos and use various filters. I don’t have an innate eye for photography . Do you have any recommendations for me to up my skills? Specifically some good resources and/or online classes?

There are a lot of think pieces out there about #blackfriday and #cybermonday. Is the sale weekend good? Bad? Is it tearing us apart [lisa]?

I don’t have the answers so I kind of waver between hating and loving Black Friday—that is, until the weekend actually arrives. When I see those sales I kind of sort of REALLY like Black Friday weekend for purely selfish reasons—it becomes my “Treat Yo’ Self” weekend. What could be better after a loud, raucous, all day feast with your family than some all-by-myself retail therapy??? And especially if you can do all that shopping from the couch.

One of my goals for the new year is to draw more. I’ve been trying to integrate illustrations into things I do on the daily/weekly, like bullet journal spreads or blog posts. Here I’ve used a drawing to help me save money . Each time I hit my savings goal (hopefully on time) I get to color in some flowers haha.

Now that I’ve gotten rid of my art studio (still sobbing about it ) I don’t oil paint anymore, but it doesn’t mean I have to stop doing art! Looks like 2019 may be my year of illustrations.
