It’s My Little Monday!
With…G3 Unicorn Pony Whistle Wishes!
Upon deboxing her (when she was new, years ago) the hair went into this configuration, and I just left it that way because it looks pretty good. Her name may be a bit silly, and it really doesn’t go with her symbol at all, but she’s still quite a pretty pony, with an almost tropical look. Notice the pink hair, they’ve chosen an interesting matte color for it. (G3 introduced matte hair with their now-famous & beautiful matte white) The matte pink is lesser-used/known. It creates an interesting look for her tail, where it’s mixed with the yellow and almost makes it orange-ish somehow.  Her symbol is a cloud with 3 different sizes of stars. Also notice that she has the glitter horn and ‘glitter forehead’ that some of them just randomly were given.
Her pose is nice and active.
There’s something slightly dreamy about it? Or relaxed somehow? Being later in the line, her head can turn naturally. This also (unfortunately) points out that only having the symbol on one side is a detriment to her–she’d look great faced either way with this pose, but lack of symbol prevents it. It’s too bad there weren’t more G3 unicorns. The horn is different from G1 but it is extremely fitting and perfectly G3 styled. She’s a very pretty and creatively done character, nobody else resembles her.
She did appear in the G3 special Runaway Rainbow. She is described as a ‘very girly’ character. (By this point the box-backs didn’t give the characters a story, it was just birthday, favorite gem/flower/color) Collect this one while you can! As G3 ages, the price only goes up and she is less common, for being at the end of the line.

It’s Toy Time Tuesday!
With…Dream Ella Unicorn Ocean!
Finally, a new fantasy toy appears that is nice looking, good quality AND affordable? Horsefeathers! But it’s true because the Barbie-Alike like “Dream Ella” has apparently bought the Bratz’s horse old mold and made a set of 3 unicorns for Dream Ella world…or wherever she’s supposed to be. The mold is completely unaltered from their Bratz Unicorn, complete with slightly rubbery hon and no sculpting at all for the eye (and, of course, the signature Bratz frown is still there)
This horse mold is decidedly fantasy, as the legs are longer than a normal horse, but it is an example of a modified body-plan that doesn’t result in something ugly or goofy as too often altered things do. (It doesn’t help that everything tries to look like either a dog or an emoji for whatever reason these days) The pose is elegant and highly fantasy in a good middle blue with quite a rich and nice aqua nylon hair mane and tail. The mane has a nice amount of shimmering purple and iridescent tinsel and the tail is quite thick. She has a winged heart symbol in yellow but it is painted over in gold glitter. The horn is coated in gold glitter as well (the original horn was glow-plastic)
Of course, they had to change the eye off of the very distinctive and long Bratz eye (the whole third of the horse’s face would open in a long slit…should that eye have ever blinked) The eye they’ve given isn’t extremely remarkable, but it is normal enough looking. Instead of the glitter hooves she has blue metallic, which looks nice. She comes with a butterfly theme brush (that does not work at all, the wings bump the hair away and the teeth are too short) But it is an all right effort.
Quality for the Price!
These are 9.99 or 12.99 at Target AND Amazon! Go grab all 3 (purple, pink, blue) if you’re into fantasy collecting and have the space. This is a big horse, larger than every other ‘doll line’ including MH and Barbie. Look at how much hair she has! Look at the quality of it too…and for 9.99??? It’s really showing up other brands (looking at Hasbro MLP here….) whining that they have to charge 10 dollars for the worlds smallest and cheapest Izzy Moonbow with rotten quality hair or plastic-hair-hitch who you can barely play with while a Barbie-Alike gets real luxury giant unicorns for under 15 dollars. Also interesting is that this hair quality seems actually better than the Bratz Unicorns used, as theirs was Kanekalon which did not stand up well to kid-use. Hopefully this line does really well for Dream Ella and we can get more of these! Maybe with gimmicks!
Is this going to get customized? Highly likely.
